Der im Juli 2000 eingeweihte Park Gerland, ein Werk des großen zeitgenössischen Architekten Michel Corajoud, ist ein 20 ha großer Raum, der aus mehreren Landschaftselementen besteht, die seine Einzigartigkeit und Schönheit ausmachen: Eine botanische Galerie (Megaphorbiain), ein chromatischer Garten, Wasserbecken, eine große Rasenfläche von 5 ha, ohne die Ufer der Rhone zu vergessen, die als Naturgebiet verwaltet werden.
