Die Ausstellung bietet einen retrospektiven Überblick über ein Jahrzehnt der Praxis des Drucks und enthüllt die Kohärenz und Entwicklung der Arbeit des Künstlers.
Durch eine geduldige Erforschung dieses Mediums entwickelt sie einen durch Experimente geprägten Ansatz, der sowohl auf seine spezifischen Einschränkungen als auch auf seine mächtigen plastischen Ressourcen achtet.
Seine ersten Grabsteine und Holzschnitte zeichnen sich durch eine große Aufmerksamkeit für die Details und Texturen der realen Welt aus. Genährt von dem Wunsch, die Schönheit der natürlichen Welt zu erfassen, zeugen sie zugleich von einer Faszination für die gravierten Tafeln der antiken Naturgeschichte.
Diese Bilder beschränken sich jedoch nie auf eine sorgfältige Beschreibung des Sichtbaren: Es gibt immer eine leichte Verschiebung, die die Darstellung zum Fremden, zum Rätsel und zur Vorstellungskraft öffnet. So zeichnet sich eine üppige und geheimnisvolle Ökologie ab, ein Universum im Licht-Dunkel, in dem eine sensible Verbindung zu den Lebewesen besteht, die uns umgeben.
Nach und nach verlagert der Künstler seinen Blick auf eine innigere Erkundung seiner Beziehung zur Welt, indem er seine Empfindungen und subjektiven Zustände in das gravierte Material einbindet. Der menschliche Körper erscheint dort als fruchtbarer Humus: ein lebendiges, durchlässiges, schwankendes und keimendes Milieu. Die Figuren verschmelzen mit einer Vielzahl organischer Motive, die die Grenzen zwischen innen und außen, zwischen metaphysisch und karnikal, emotional und sensorisch aufheben. Diese Werke formen einen Körper, der von der Welt so sehr durchquert wird, wie er sie durchquert.
Seine letzte Serie, Humaine, die seit 2020 entwickelt wurde, umfasst eine Vielzahl von Porträts und Masken, die uns in eine Beziehung der Blicke einbinden. All diese im Holz eingravierten Gesichter, wie so viele Spiegel unserer gemeinsamen Menschlichkeit, laden zur Selbsterkenntnis und zur Begegnung mit dem anderen ein.
Zu beachten ist, dass die Ausstellung des Künstlers durch die Galerie Iris Miranda ergänzt wird, die von der Médiathèque départementale - Conseil départemental du Lot et Garonne kostenlos ausgeliehen wurde.

The exhibition offers a retrospective of a decade of printmaking, revealing the coherence and evolution of the artist’s work.
Through a patient exploration of this medium, she deploys an approach forged by experimentation, attentive as much to its specific constraints as to its powerful plastic resources.
His first etchings and woodcuts are distinguished by a great attention to details and textures of reality. Fueled by a desire to capture the beauty of the natural world, they also bear witness to a fascination with engraved plates from ancient natural history.
However, these images are never limited to a meticulous description of the visible: there is always a slight shift, opening up the representation to strangeness, enigma and imagination. Thus emerges an ecology teeming and mysterious, a universe in chiaroscuro where asserts a sensitive link with the living that surrounds us.
Gradually, the artist shifts his gaze towards a more intimate exploration of his relationship to the world, embodying its sensations and subjective states in the engraved material. The human body appears as a fertile humus: a living, permeable, fluctuating and budding environment. The figures merge into a proliferation of organic motifs, abolishing the boundaries between interior and exterior, between metaphysics and the carnal, emotional and sensory. These works give shape to a body crossed by the world as much as it crosses it.
His latest series, Humaine, developed since 2020, consists of a host of portraits and masks, which engage us in a relationship of looks. All these faces engraved in the wood, like so many mirrors of our shared humanity, invite to self-recognition and the encounter with the other.
To be noted, the artist’s exhibition is completed by the Galerie nomade Iris Miranda, loaned free of charge by the Médiathèque départementale - Conseil départemental du Lot et Garonne.

L'esposizione propone un viaggio retrospettivo attraverso un decennio di pratica della stampa, rivelando la coerenza e l'evoluzione del lavoro dell'artista.
Attraverso un'esplorazione paziente di questo mezzo, sviluppa un approccio forgiato dalla sperimentazione, attenta sia ai suoi vincoli specifici che alle sue potenti risorse plastiche.
Le sue prime incisioni e incisioni su legno si distinguono per la grande attenzione ai dettagli e alle texture del reale. Nutrendosi del desiderio di cogliere la bellezza del mondo naturale, esse testimoniano anche un fascino per le tavole incise della storia naturale antica.
Tuttavia, queste immagini non si limitano mai a una descrizione minuziosa del visibile: c'è sempre un leggero distacco, che apre la rappresentazione all'estraneità, all'enigma e all'immaginario. Si delinea così un'ecologia fiorente e misteriosa, un universo in chiaro-oscuro dove si afferma un legame sensibile con il vivente che ci circonda.
Gradualmente, l'artista sposta il suo sguardo verso un'esplorazione più intima della sua relazione con il mondo, incarnando le sue sensazioni e i suoi stati soggettivi nella materia incisa. Il corpo umano appare come un humus fertile: un ambiente vivo, permeabile, fluttuante e in fermento. Le figure si fondono in una proliferazione di motivi organici, abolendo i confini tra interno ed esterno, tra metafisico e carnale, emotivo e sensoriale. Queste opere danno forma a un corpo attraversato dal mondo tanto quanto lo attraversa.
La sua ultima serie, Humaine, sviluppata dal 2020, comprende una serie di ritratti e maschere che ci impegnano in un rapporto di sguardo. Tutti questi volti scolpiti nel legno, come tanti specchi della nostra umanità condivisa, invitano al riconoscimento di sé e all'incontro con l'altro.

L’exposition propose une traversée rétrospective d’une décennie de pratique de l’estampe, révélant la cohérence et l’évolution du travail de l’artiste.
À travers une exploration patiente de ce médium, elle déploie une démarche forgée par l’expérimentation, attentive autant à ses contraintes spécifiques qu’à ses puissantes ressources plastiques.
Ses premières eaux-fortes et gravures sur bois se distinguent par une grande attention portée aux détails et aux textures du réel. Nourries d’un désir de saisir la beauté du monde naturel, elles témoignent également d’une fascination pour les planches gravées de l’Histoire naturelle ancienne.
Toutefois, ces images ne se limitent jamais à une description minutieuse du visible : il y a toujours un léger décalage, ouvrant la représentation à l’étrangeté, à l’énigme et à l’imaginaire. Se dessine ainsi une écologie foisonnante et mystérieuse, un univers en clair-obscur où s’affirme un lien sensible avec le vivant qui nous entoure.
Progressivement, l’artiste déplace son regard vers une exploration plus intime de sa relation au monde, incarnant ses sensations et ses états subjectifs dans la matière gravée. Le corps humain y apparaît comme un humus fertile : un milieu vivant, perméable, fluctuant et bourgeonnant. Les figures se fondent dans une prolifération de motifs organiques, abolissant les frontières entre intérieur et extérieur, entre la métaphysique et le charnel, l’émotionnel et le sensoriel. Ces œuvres donnent forme à un corps traversé par le monde autant qu’il le traverse.
Sa dernière série, Humaine, développée depuis 2020, compose une foule de portraits et masques, qui nous engage à une relation de regards. Tous ces visages gravés dans le bois, comme autant de miroirs de notre humanité partagée, invitent à la reconnaissance de soi et à la rencontre de l’autre.

A través de una exploración paciente de este medio, despliega un enfoque forjado por la experimentación, atenta tanto a sus limitaciones específicas como a sus potentes recursos plásticos.
Sus primeros grabados en madera se distinguen por una gran atención a los detalles y las texturas de la realidad. Alimentadas por un deseo de captar la belleza del mundo natural, también atestiguan una fascinación por las planchas grabadas de la historia natural antigua.
Sin embargo, estas imágenes nunca se limitan a una descripción minuciosa del visible: siempre hay un ligero desfase, abriendo la representación al extraño, al enigma y a la imaginación. Se delinea así una ecología floreciente y misteriosa, un universo en claro-oscuro donde se afirma un vínculo sensible con el ser vivo que nos rodea.
Poco a poco, el artista desplaza su mirada hacia una exploración más íntima de su relación con el mundo, encarnando sus sensaciones y estados subjetivos en la materia grabada. El cuerpo humano aparece como un humus fértil: un medio vivo, permeable, fluctuante y pujante. Las figuras se funden en una proliferación de motivos orgánicos, aboliendo las fronteras entre interior y exterior, entre metafísico y carnal, emocional y sensorial. Estas obras dan forma a un cuerpo atravesado por el mundo tanto como lo atraviesa.
Su última serie, Humaine, desarrollada desde 2020, consta de una multitud de retratos y máscaras, que nos compromete a una relación de miradas. Todos estos rostros grabados en la madera, como tantos espejos de nuestra humanidad compartida, invitan al reconocimiento de uno mismo y al encuentro del otro.
Cabe destacar que la exposición del artista se completa con la galería nómada Iris Miranda, prestada gratuitamente por la Médiathèque départementale - Conseil départemental du Lot et Garonne.
