Willkommen am Nordpol, seinem Schneesturm, seiner Eisdecke..." Polaris" ist eine spielerische und lehrreiche Erzählung mit erstaunlichen Bildern, die die Themen der polaren Nacht und der Planeten des Sonnensystems behandelt.
James, ein reisender Pinguin vom Südpol, und Vladimir, ein lustiger Bär vom Nordpol, begegnen sich auf dem arktischen Meereis. Astronomen-Schüler fragen sich, warum die Nacht auf beiden Seiten der Erde so lang ist.
Ein außergewöhnliches wissenschaftliches Abenteuer wird sie vom Bau eines Observatoriums bis hin zu einem unbemannten Raumschiff führen.
Während einer Reise um die Erde und dann zu Mars und Saturn, werden sie ihre Frage beantworten und entdecken, dass die Planeten gemeinsame Gemeinsamkeiten haben, aber auch Unterschiede!

Welcome to the North Pole, its blizzard, its ice floe..." Polaris" is a playful and educational story with astonishing images that addresses the themes of polar night and the planets of the Solar System.
James, a traveling penguin from the South Pole, and Vladimir, a funny bear from the North Pole, meet on the Arctic ice. Apprentice astronomers, they wonder why the night is so long at both poles of the Earth.
An extraordinary scientific adventure will lead them from the construction of an observatory to that of a makeshift spaceship.
During a journey around the Earth and then to Mars and Saturn, they will answer their question and discover that the planets have common points, but also differences!

Benvenuti al Polo Nord, la sua bufera di neve, il suo ghiaccio..." Polaris" è un racconto ludico ed educativo con immagini sorprendenti che affronta i temi della notte polare e dei pianeti del sistema solare.
James, un pinguino viaggiatore del Polo Sud, e Vladimir, un orso divertente del Polo Nord, si incontrano sulla banchisa artica. Gli studenti di astronomia si chiedono perché la notte è così lunga ai due poli della Terra.
Una straordinaria avventura scientifica li porterà dalla costruzione di un osservatorio a quella di un'astronave improvvisata.
Nel corso di un viaggio intorno alla Terra e poi verso Marte e Saturno, essi risponderanno al loro quesito e scopriranno che i pianeti hanno punti in comune, ma anche differenze!

Bienvenue au pôle Nord, son blizzard, sa banquise… "Polaris" est un récit ludique et pédagogique aux images étonnantes qui aborde les thèmes de la nuit polaire et des planètes du Système solaire.
James, un manchot voyageur du pôle Sud, et Vladimir, un ours rigolo du pôle Nord, se rencontrent sur la banquise arctique. Apprentis astronomes, ils se demandent pourquoi la nuit est si longue aux deux pôles de la Terre.
Une aventure scientifique extraordinaire va les mener de la construction d’un observatoire à celle d’un vaisseau spatial de fortune.
Au cours d’un voyage autour de la Terre puis vers Mars et Saturne, ils répondront à leur interrogation et découvriront que les planètes ont des points communs, mais aussi des différences !

Bienvenidos al Polo Norte, su ventisca, su banquise..." Polaris" es un relato lúdico y pedagógico con imágenes sorprendentes que aborda los temas de la noche polar y de los planetas del sistema solar.
James, un pingüino viajero del Polo Sur, y Vladimir, un oso divertido del Polo Norte, se encuentran en el hielo polar ártico. Aprendices de astronomía, se preguntan por qué la noche es tan larga en los dos polos de la Tierra.
Una aventura científica extraordinaria los llevará desde la construcción de un observatorio a la de una nave espacial improvisada.
Durante un viaje alrededor de la Tierra y luego hacia Marte y Saturno, responderán a su pregunta y descubrirán que los planetas tienen puntos en común, ¡pero también diferencias!
