Im Rahmen der Europäischen Tage des Kulturerbes 2026 öffnet Ihnen das Museum seine Türen kostenlos, um seine Dauerausstellungen sowie die temporäre Ausstellung "Talisman. Carte blanche à Ali Banisadr" zu entdecken.
Anlässlich des 200. Geburtstages von Gustave Moreau (1826-1898) lädt das Nationale Museum Gustave Moreau den zeitgenössischen Künstler Ali Banisadr ein, seine Räume im Rahmen einer Carte-Blanche vom 9. September bis 7. Dezember 2026 zu bespielen.
In Partnerschaft mit der Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac - Paris realisiert, setzt die Ausstellung mit dem Titel „Talisman: carte blanche für Ali Banisadr“ zwei visionäre Künstler in einen Dialog, die durch ihre Vorliebe für imaginäre Welten, symbolische Erzählungen und die Metamorphosen des Bildes verbunden sind. Geboren 1976 in Teheran und ansässig in New York, ist dieser Künstler für seine üppigen Werke bekannt, die Abstraktion, Figuration, Erinnerung, Geschichte und Mythologie verbinden. Durch eine Auswahl von Gemälden, Pastellen und Skulpturen, die im Atelierhaus von Moreau präsentiert wird, bietet dieses bislang unbekannte Zusammentreffen eine Reflexion über die Fähigkeit der Malerei, Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Mythos in Dialog zu bringen.

As part of the 2026 European Heritage Days, the museum opens its doors to you free of charge to discover its permanent collections and the temporary exhibition "Talisman. Carte blanche to Ali Banisadr." On the occasion of the bicentennial of the birth of Gustave Moreau (1826-1898), the Gustave Moreau National Museum invites contemporary artist Ali Banisadr to engage with its spaces as part of a carte blanche, from September 9 to December 7, 2026.
Organized in partnership with the Thaddaeus Ropac gallery - Paris, the exhibition entitled "Talisman: Carte Blanche to Ali Banisadr" brings into dialogue two visionary artists, united by their taste for imaginary worlds, symbolic narratives, and the metamorphoses of the image. Born in Tehran in 1976 and based in New York, this artist is recognized for his abundant works blending abstraction, figuration, memory, history, and mythology. Through a selection of paintings, pastels, and sculptures presented in Moreau's studio-house, this unprecedented encounter offers a reflection on the capacity of painting to make the past, present, and myth converse.

In occasione del bicentenario della nascita di Gustave Moreau (1826-1898), il Musée National Gustave Moreau invita l'artista contemporaneo Ali Banisadr a investire i suoi spazi nell'ambito di una carta bianca, dal 9 settembre al 7 dicembre 2026.
Realizzata in collaborazione con la galleria Thaddaeus Ropac - Parigi, la mostra intitolata « Talisman: carte blanche ad Ali Banisadr » mette in dialogo due artisti visionari, uniti dal loro gusto per i mondi immaginari, i racconti simbolici e le metamorfosi dell’immagine. Nato a Teheran nel 1976 e stabilitosi a New York, questo artista è riconosciuto per le sue opere ricche e complesse che mescolano astrazione, figurazione, memoria, storia e mitologia. Attraverso una selezione di dipinti, pastelli e sculture presentata nella casa-studio di Moreau, questo incontro inedito offre una riflessione sulla capacità della pittura di far dialogare passato, presente e mito.

À l’occasion du bicentenaire de la naissance de Gustave Moreau (1826-1898), le musée national Gustave Moreau invite l’artiste contemporain Ali Banisadr à investir ses espaces dans le cadre d’une « carte blanche », du 9 septembre au 7 décembre 2026. Réalisée en partenariat avec la galerie Thaddaeus Ropac, l’exposition intitulée « Talisman. Carte blanche à Ali Banisadr » met en dialogue deux artistes visionnaires, réunis par leur goût pour les mondes imaginaires, les récits symboliques et les métamorphoses de l’image. Né à Téhéran en 1976 et installé à New York, cet artiste est reconnu pour ses œuvres foisonnantes mêlant abstraction, figuration, mémoire, histoire et mythologie. À travers une sélection de peintures, pastels et sculptures présentée dans la maison-atelier de Moreau, cette rencontre inédite offre une réflexion sur la capacité de la peinture à faire dialoguer passé, présent et mythe.

Con ocasión del bicentenario del nacimiento de Gustave Moreau (1826-1898), el museo nacional Gustave Moreau invita al artista contemporáneo Ali Banisadr a intervenir en sus espacios en el marco de una carta blanca, del 9 de septiembre al 7 de diciembre de 2026.
Realizada en colaboración con la galería Thaddaeus Ropac - París, la exposición titulada « Talisman: carte blanche a Ali Banisadr » pone en diálogo a dos artistas visionarios, unidos por su gusto por los mundos imaginarios, los relatos simbólicos y las metamorfosis de la imagen. Nacido en Teherán en 1976 y establecido en Nueva York, este artista es reconocido por sus obras abundantes que combinan abstracción, figuración, memoria, historia y mitología. A través de una selección de pinturas, pasteles y esculturas presentada en la casa-taller de Moreau, este encuentro inédito ofrece una reflexión sobre la capacidad de la pintura para hacer dialogar pasado, presente y mito.
