Der Tempel "im Buch von Sommières",
Geschichte und Architektur
Die Kunsthistorikerin Sophie Piot hat die Geschichte des Tempels von Sommières untersucht, von den Ursprüngen des Gebäudes, damals eine Kirche des Klosters der Cordeliers, bis zu seiner Umwandlung in einen Tempel im 19. Jahrhundert. Sie schildert seine architektonische Entwicklung, sowohl nach außen als auch nach innen, im Kontext der Beziehungen der Macht mit dem Protestantismus.
Die Konferenz wird im Rahmen des Mäzenatentums zugunsten der Tempelarbeiten angeboten. Der Verein zum Schutz des Tempels von Sommières, der die Veranstaltung in Partnerschaft mit der Stadt organisiert, wird ein Glas Freundschaft anbieten, um den Abend zu beenden.

The art historian Sophie Piot studied the history of the temple of Sommières, from the origins of the building, then church of the convent of the Cordeliers, until its transformation into a temple during the 19th century. It traces its architectural evolution, both outside and inside, in the context of relations of power with Protestantism.
The conference is offered as part of patronage for temple work. The association for the safeguarding of the temple of Sommières, organisers of the event in partnership with the city, will offer a glass of friendship to close the evening.

L'historienne de l'art Sophie Piot a étudié l'histoire du temple de Sommières, depuis les origines de l'édifice, alors église du couvent des cordeliers, jusqu'à sa transformation en temple au cours du XIXe siècle. Elle retrace son évolution architecturale, tant à l'extérieur qu'à l'intérieur, dans le contexte des relations du pouvoir avec le protestantisme.
La conférence est proposée dans le cadre du mécénat en faveur des travaux du temple. L'association de sauvegarde du temple de Sommières, organistrice de l'événement en partenariat avec la Ville, offrira un verre de l'amitié pour clôre la soirée.
