Lucian Schonefelder, a contributor to the Mensuram Bonam initiative, will present his review of the recommendations on religious finance issued by Bishops' Conferences around the world. He will explore with us the various levers the Conferences mention, show how they reflect local contexts, and give examples from Austria, Germany and the United States.
Among other topics, attendees will come away with a clearer understanding of the role of subsidiarity, a core principle of Catholic Social Teaching, in this field.
Launched in early 2025, the Institut des Hautes Études de Finance Religieuse (IHEFR) aims to promote ethical asset management and explore the role of faith-based finance in serving the common good.
