Die Kirche Saint-Ouen hat die Form eines lateinischen Kreuzes. Ihr Schiff ist 40 Meter lang. Die erste Etage des Turms, die an der Kreuzung der Querschiffe steht, ist aus dem 13. Jahrhundert, die zweite ist aus dem 14. Jahrhundert und die dritte Etage aus dem 15. Jahrhundert. Das Ganze ist mit einem achteckigen und scharfen Dach bedeckt. Das Portal, umrahmt von zwei Türmen, die jeweils einen Glockenturm tragen, ist ebenso wie das Kirchenschiff im romanischen Stil gehalten. Das Kirchenschiff (innen und außen) ist mit furnierten Bögen verziert, die in der Normandie eher ungewöhnlich sind, was man nur in der Kirche Saint-Martin de Colombelles findet. Die Kirche, die sowohl Opfer der Reformation als auch der Kämpfe von 1944 war, erlitt große Schäden und war Gegenstand zahlreicher Umbauten.

The church of Saint-Ouen is shaped like a Latin cross. Its vessel is 40 metres long. The first floor of the tower, which stands at the crossing of the transepts, is of the thirteenth century, the second is of the fourteenth century and the third floor of the fifteenth century. The whole is covered with an octagonal and pointed roof. The portal, framed by two turrets each carrying a bell tower, is pure Romanesque style, just like the nave. The nave (interior and exterior) has a decoration of plated arcatures rather unusual in Normandy, which can hardly be found only in the church of Saint-Martin de Colombelles. Both a victim of the Reformation and the fighting of 1944, the church suffered considerable damage and was the object of numerous changes.

L’ensemble est couvert d’un toit octogonal et pointu. Le portail, encadré de deux tourelles portant chacune un clocheton, est de pur style roman, tout comme la nef. La nef (intérieur et extérieur) comporte un décor d’arcatures plaquées assez inhabituel en Normandie, que l’on ne retrouve guère que dans l’église Saint-Martin de Colombelles. Victime autant de la Réforme que des combats de 1944, l’église a subi d’importants dégâts et a été l’objet de nombreux remaniements.
