The exhibition event "THE SIXTINE CHAPEL OF MICHEL-ANGE" arrives in the capital of Gironde. Come to the Faïencerie from October 19, 2022 to discover Michelangelo's masterpiece, as if you were there!
A total of 34 HD photographs reproducing biblical scenes will be displayed on the walls and ceilings of the Faïencerie. Thanks to a state-of-the-art SEG (Silicone Edge Graphics) technology, each brush stroke and each color tone used by the artist is reproduced identically. The paintings on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel are brought to light with particular precision and care using high-definition photographs and a printing technique that reproduces the appearance and relief of the original paintings. Each painting is accompanied by an explanatory sheet, but above all, an audio guide is accessible free of charge via the application, directly on your smartphone.

The waiting list is now open and will give access to an exclusive ticketing. Tickets will be available from September 27 at 11am directly on the website of the event. It is strongly recommended to book in advance!

L’exposition événement «LA CHAPELLE SIXTINE DE MICHEL-ANGE» débarque dans la capitale girondine. Rendez-vous à la Faïencerie à partir du 19 octobre 2022 pour découvrir le chef d’œuvre de Michel-Ange, comme si on y était !
Au total, ce sont 34 photographies HD reproduisant des scènes bibliques qui prendront place sur les murs et plafonds de la Faïencerie. Grâce à une technologie de pointe SEG (Silicone Edge Graphics), chaque coup de pinceau et chaque ton de couleur utilisé par l’artiste est reproduit à l’identique. Les peintures du plafond de la Chapelle Sixtine sont mises en lumière avec une précision et un soin particulier à l'aide de photographies haute définition et selon une technique d'impression qui reprend l'aspect et le relief des peintures originales. Chaque tableau est accompagné d’une fiche explicative, mais surtout, un audioguide est accessible gratuitement via l’application, directement sur son smartphone.
