Fuertemente marcada por la presencia del agua (ciénagas), la urbanización de Bacalan se observa desde los finales del siglo XVIII y se aumenta en el siglo XIX con la instalación de industrias marítimas y portuarias y de su mano de obra.
Déjese guiar por nuestro explorador urbano, y váyase al descubrimiento del gran cuarto de Bacalan de su “plaza de pueblo”: Buscaillet, en la ciudad Claveau en las fronteras nortes de la ciudad.
La Ciudad Claveau forma parte de los proyectos urbanos de reconstrucción de postguerra de Burdeos. Una ciudad - jardín de 485 viviendas, de edificios y de equipos colectivos (piscina, hogar(fogón) municipal, escuela de párvulos, anida).
