Was bleibt heute vom Romantizismus in der Kunst?
Diese Frage zieht sich seit vielen Jahren durch die Arbeit der Fotografin FLORE. Der Künstler komponiert so ein Werk, in dem sich Poesie, Melancholie und die Erinnerung an "das, was war" verbinden, im tiefen Einklang mit den romantischen Themen.
Anlässlich dieser Ausstellung widmet sich FLORE allen Bereichen und präsentiert eine Sammlung von Fotografien, die insbesondere die romantischen Freundschaften zwischen Ary Scheffer, George Sand, Pauline Viardot und Frédéric Chopin ergründen.
Die meisten der Stücke werden unveröffentlicht, speziell für das Museum angefertigt und zum ersten Mal der Öffentlichkeit präsentiert.
Im Hinblick auf diese zeitgenössischen Werke wird eine Auswahl von Werken des 19. Jahrhunderts aus den Sammlungen des Museums, angereichert mit externen Leihgaben, einen fruchtbaren Dialog zwischen den Bildern der romantischen Epoche und den Kreationen von FLORE schaffen, der die Zeitlichkeit und die Sensibilität zum Ausdruck bringt.

What remains of romanticism in art today?
This question has been present in the work of photographer FLORE for many years. The artist thus composes a work where poetry, melancholy and memory of "what has been" are mixed, in deep echo with the themes dear to the romantics.
On the occasion of this exhibition, FLORE invests all the spaces and presents a corpus of photographs exploring in particular the romantic bonds of friendship between Ary Scheffer, George Sand, Pauline Viardot and Frédéric Chopin.
The majority of the pieces will be unpublished, made especially for the museum and presented to the public for the first time.
With regard to these contemporary works, a selection of 19th-century works from the museum’s collections, enriched by external loans, will establish a fruitful dialogue between the images of the Romantic era and the creations of FLORE, resonating temporalities and sensibilities.

Cosa resta del romanticismo nell'arte oggi?
Questa domanda attraversa il lavoro della fotografa FLORE da molti anni. L'artista compone così un'opera in cui si mescolano poesia, malinconia e memoria di "ciò che è stato", in profonda sintonia con i temi cari ai romantici.
In occasione di questa mostra, FLORE investe tutti gli spazi e presenta un corpus di fotografie che esplorano i legami d'amicizia romantici tra Ary Scheffer, George Sand, Pauline Viardot e Frédéric Chopin.
La maggior parte dei pezzi saranno inediti, realizzati appositamente per il museo e presentati per la prima volta al pubblico.
In relazione a queste opere contemporanee, una selezione di opere del XIX secolo provenienti dalle collezioni del museo, arricchita da prestiti esterni, instaurerà un dialogo fecondo tra le immagini dell'epoca romantica e le creazioni di FLORE, facendo risuonare temporalità e sensibilità.

Que reste-t-il aujourd’hui du romantisme dans l’art ?
Cette question traverse le travail de la photographe FLORE depuis de nombreuses années. L’artiste compose ainsi une œuvre où se mêlent poésie, mélancolie et mémoire de « ce qui a été », en écho profond avec les thèmes chers aux romantiques.
À l’occasion de cette exposition, FLORE investit l’ensemble des espaces et présente un corpus de photographies explorant notamment les liens d’amitié romantiques entre Ary Scheffer, George Sand, Pauline Viardot et Frédéric Chopin.
La majorité des pièces seront inédites, réalisées spécialement pour le musée et présentées pour la première fois au public.
En regard de ces œuvres contemporaines, une sélection d’œuvres du XIXe siècle issues des collections du musée, enrichie de prêts extérieurs, instaurera un dialogue fécond entre les images de l’époque romantique et les créations de FLORE, faisant résonner les temporalités et les sensibilités

Esta pregunta ha estado presente en el trabajo de la fotógrafa FLORE durante muchos años. El artista compone así una obra donde se mezclan poesía, melancolía y memoria de «lo que ha sido», en profundo eco con los temas queridos a los románticos.
Con ocasión de esta exposición, FLORE ocupa el conjunto de los espacios y presenta un corpus de fotografías que exploran en particular los lazos de amistad románticos entre Ary Scheffer, George Sand, Pauline Viardot y Frédéric Chopin.
La mayoría de las piezas serán inéditas, realizadas especialmente para el museo y presentadas por primera vez al público.
En relación a estas obras contemporáneas, una selección de obras del siglo XIX procedentes de las colecciones del museo, enriquecida con préstamos exteriores, instaurará un diálogo fecundo entre las imágenes de la época romántica y las creaciones de FLORE, haciendo resonar las temporalidades y las sensibilidades
