Bild pro Bild ist ein Projekt von Latent. e die Fotografie als reproduzierbares, transformierbares und zeitbasiertes Medium jenseits des festen Bildes zu erforschen. Am Treffpunkt von Fotografie, Collage und experimentellem Kino geht es um die zeitgenössische Nutzung des fotografischen Archivs: wie ein bestehendes Bild neu interpretiert, neu komponiert und in Bewegung gesetzt werden kann, um neue visuelle Erzählungen zu erzeugen.
Dieser Workshop-Zyklus besteht aus zwei sich ergänzenden Modulen. Die erste widmet sich der fotografischen Rekomposition aus bestehenden und archivierten Bildern: Auswahl, Fragmentierung und Montage werden als Möglichkeiten untersucht, wie Bedeutung konstruiert wird und wie Bilder zirkulieren. Die zweite übersetzt diese neu zusammengesetzten Bilder durch den historischen Cyanotypie-Prozess, der durch eine Frame-by-Frame-Animation in Folge gesetzt wird und kameralose Fotografie, Vorkino und zeitgenössische Bewegtbildpraktiken in einen Dialog bringt.
Die Workshops sind offen für Studenten, Künstler und neugierige Teilnehmer und betonen eine Pädagogik des Sehens und Schaffens: praktische Bildmanipulation, kritische Reflexion und historischer Kontext. Alle Materialien werden zur Verfügung gestellt.
Entwickelt von Latent. e, eine 2025 in Paris gegründete Non-Profit-Organisation, die sich mit der Fotografie als materiellem, zeitlichem und sich entwickelndem Medium durch Collage, alternative Prozesse und das bewegte Bild beschäftigt.

Image par image is a project by Latent.e exploring photography as a reproducible, transformable and time-based medium, beyond the fixed image. At the meeting point of photography, collage and experimental cinema, it looks at contemporary uses of the photographic archive: how an existing image can be reinterpreted, recomposed and set in motion to produce new visual narratives.
This workshop cycle is built around two complementary modules. The first is devoted to photographic recomposition from existing and archival images: exploring selection, fragmentation and montage as ways of questioning how meaning is constructed and how images circulate. The second translates these recomposed images through the historical cyanotype process, set in sequence through frame-by-frame animation, bringing cameraless photography, pre-cinema and contemporary moving-image practices into dialogue.
The workshops are open to students, artists and curious participants, and emphasize a pedagogy of looking and making: hands-on image manipulation, critical reflection and historical context. All materials are provided.

Immagine per immagine è un progetto di Latente. e esplorare la fotografia come un mezzo riproducibile, trasformabile e basato sul tempo, oltre l'immagine fissa. Al punto d'incontro tra fotografia, collage e cinema sperimentale, esamina gli usi contemporanei dell'archivio fotografico: come un'immagine esistente può essere reinterpretata, ricomposta e messa in moto per produrre nuove narrazioni visive.
Questo ciclo di workshop è costruito attorno a due moduli complementari. Il primo è dedicato alla ricomposizione fotografica di immagini esistenti e d'archivio: esplorando la selezione, la frammentazione e il montaggio come modi per mettere in discussione come si costruisce un significato e come le immagini circolano. Il secondo traduce queste immagini ricomposte attraverso il processo storico del cianotipo, messe in sequenza tramite l'animazione fotogramma per fotogramma, portando in dialogo la fotografia senza fotocamera, le pratiche pre-cinematografiche e quelle contemporanee dell'immagine in movimento.
I laboratori sono aperti a studenti, artisti e curiosi, e sottolineano una pedagogia dell'osservare e del fare: manipolazione pratica delle immagini, riflessione critica e contesto storico. Tutti i materiali sono forniti.

Image par image est un projet par Latent.e explorant la photographie comme un médium reproductible, transformable et temporel, au-delà de l’image fixe. À la croisée de la photographie, du collage et du cinéma expérimental, il se penche sur les usages contemporains des archives photographiques : comment une image existante peut être réinterprétée, recomposée et mise en mouvement pour produire de nouveaux récits visuels.
Ce cycle d’ateliers s’articule autour de deux modules complémentaires. La première est consacrée à la recomposition photographique à partir d’images existantes et d’archives : elle explore la sélection, la fragmentation et le montage comme autant de moyens pour interroger la construction du sens et la circulation des images. La seconde traduit ces images recomposées à travers le processus du cyanotype historique, mis en séquence par l’animation image par image, faisant dialoguer photographie sans caméra, pré-cinéma et pratiques contemporaines de l’image en mouvement.
Les ateliers sont ouverts aux étudiants, aux artistes et aux participants curieux, et mettent l’accent sur une pédagogie du regard et de la création : manipulation d’images sur le terrain, réflexion critique et contexte historique. Tous les matériaux sont fournis.

Imagen por imagen es un proyecto de Latente. e explorar la fotografía como un medio reproducible, transformable y basado en el tiempo, más allá de la imagen fija. En el punto de encuentro entre la fotografía, el collage y el cine experimental, examina los usos contemporáneos del archivo fotográfico: cómo una imagen existente puede ser reinterpretada, recompuesta y puesta en movimiento para producir nuevas narrativas visuales.
Este ciclo de talleres se construye alrededor de dos módulos complementarios. El primero está dedicado a la recomposición fotográfica de imágenes existentes y de archivo: explorando la selección, la fragmentación y el montaje como formas de cuestionar cómo se construye el significado y cómo circulan las imágenes. El segundo traduce estas imágenes recompuestas a través del proceso histórico de cianotipo, establecidas en secuencia a través de la animación marco por marco, introduciendo en el diálogo la fotografía sin cámara, las prácticas de imagen en movimiento pre-cinematográficas y contemporáneas.
Los talleres están abiertos a estudiantes, artistas y participantes curiosos, y enfatizan una pedagogía de mirar y hacer: manipulación práctica de imágenes, reflexión crítica y contexto histórico. Se proporcionan todos los materiales.
