T3 PHOTO FESTIVAL TOKYO 2026: The theme "と" (ET)T3 PHOTO FESTIVAL TOKYO is an international photography festival that transforms the central neighborhoods of Tokyo into a vast open-air museum. For the 2026 edition, the year of the Bicentennial of Photography, the theme is "と" (ET), an exploration of invisible connections between seemingly opposite elements.
Programming highlights:
Master and Contemporary Exhibitions: The festival will present major exhibitions of internationally renowned photographers, including prestigious award winners, as well as retrospectives highlighting the legacy of Japanese photography.
Platform for New Talents: Through the T3 Student Project, we are exhibiting works by young graduates from 19 international art schools and universities, acting as an incubator for the next generation.
International Dialogues: A symposium will bring together artists from East Asia and the West, as well as leading museum curators, to discuss the future of photography in a globalized context.
