Nach einer Erinnerung an die Anfänge der Kristallographie im Lateinischen Viertel wird der Hauptbeitrag von Pasteur in der normalen Schule erwähnt. Auf der nächsten Stufe, der Hochschule für Industriephysik und Chemie, stehen die Arbeiten von Pierre Curie und Langevin im Vordergrund. Auf dem Curie-Campus schließlich: Rückblick auf die Forschungen des von Yvette Cauchois geleiteten Laboratoriums für physikalische Chemie und ihre derzeitigen Absatzmöglichkeiten im Synchrotron. Dopo un richiamo agli inizi della cristallografia nel Quartiere Latino, l'apporto maggiore di Pasteur è evocato alla Ecole normale. Nella tappa successiva, la Scuola superiore di fisica e chimica industriale, i lavori di Pierre Curie e di Langevin sono all'onore. Infine, nel campus Curie, ritorno sulle ricerche del Laboratorio di chimica fisica diretto da Yvette Cauchois e sui loro sbocchi attuali al synchrotron. Après un rappel des débuts de la cristallographie dans le Quartier latin, l’apport majeur de Pasteur est évoqué à l'Ecole normale. A l’étape suivante, l’Ecole supérieure de physique et chimie industrielles, les travaux de Pierre Curie et de Langevin sont à l’honneur. Enfin, sur le campus Curie, retour sur les recherches du Laboratoire de chimie physique dirigé par Yvette Cauchois et leurs débouchés actuels au synchrotron.
