Richard Strauss is not related to the kings of the Viennese waltz Johann and Josef Strauss. Yet, the German composer is a direct descendant of his namesake with the stunning Suite n°1 de valses from his opera Le Chevalier à la rose. Mozart’s admirable Concerto for flute and harp will then benefit from the talent of Clément Dufour and Anne Le Roy Petit, soloists of the orchestra. The emblematic Paintings of an Exhibition of Mussorgsky will end in apotheosis this very colorful concert thanks to the direction of the brilliant Belgian conductor David Reiland.

Richard Strauss ne possède aucun lien de parenté avec les rois de la valse viennoise Johann et Josef Strauss. Pourtant, le compositeur allemand s’inscrit dans la descendance directe de ses homonymes avec l’étourdissante Suite n°1 de valses tirée de son opéra Le Chevalier à la rose. L’admirable Concerto pour flûte et harpe de Mozart profitera ensuite du talent de Clément Dufour et Anne Le Roy Petit, solistes de l’orchestre. Les emblématiques Tableaux d’une Exposition de Moussorgski termineront en apothéose ce concert très coloré grâce à la direction du brillant chef belge David Reiland.

Richard Strauss is niet verwant aan de koningen van de Weense wals Johann en Josef Strauss. Toch is de Duitse componist een directe afstammeling van zijn naamgenoot met de prachtige Suite n°1 de valses uit zijn opera Le Chevalier à la rose. Mozart's bewonderenswaardige concert voor fluit en harp zal dan profiteren van het talent van Clément Dufour en Anne Le Roy Petit, solisten van het orkest. De emblematische schilderijen van een tentoonstelling van Mussorgsky eindigen in apotheose dit zeer kleurrijke concert dankzij de leiding van de briljante Belgische dirigent David Reiland.
