Chief Delyana Lazarova brings her talent to this amazing program. Subito con forza by Unsuk Chin is a dazzling piece, written for the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth. The orchestra’s soloists, Sébastien Greliak on violin and Pablo Muñoz Salido on viola, will then combine their timbres in Mozart’s sublime Symphonie concertante, a miracle of instrumental fusion. As for Symphony No. 3, written during his American exile, it is one of Rachmaninov’s most rare and seductive works.

La cheffe Delyana Lazarova déploie toute l’étendue de son talent dans ce programme étonnant. Subito con forza d’Unsuk Chin est une pièce fulgurante, écrite pour le 250ème anniversaire de la naissance de Beethoven. Les solistes de l’orchestre, Sébastien Greliak au violon et Pablo Muñoz Salido à l’alto, allieront ensuite leurs timbres dans la sublime Symphonie concertante de Mozart, miracle de fusion instrumentale. Quant à la Symphonie n°3, écrite durant son exil américain, c’est l’une des œuvres les plus rares et séduisantes de Rachmaninov.
