Discover how Nicolas Noverraz (nsnz) transforms the view from the sky into a work of art. For the start of the new school year, we invite you to discover “Survol” (Overflight), the sequel to the “Plans” project launched in 2015, an oil painting interpretation of satellite views of iconic or simply aesthetic places around the world. Ten years on, Nicolas Noverraz offers a much more local overview with the evolution of 3D images and fewer pixel aberrations.
Nicolas Noverraz's artistic approach deals with topics relevant to our contemporary society. The artist questions the relationship between aesthetics and function, between beauty and the triviality of consumer objects; through this ambivalence, he seeks to raise the viewer's awareness of our society.

Découvrez comment Nicolas Noverraz (nsnz) transforme la vue du ciel en œuvre d’art. Pour la rentrée, nous vous invitons à découvrir « Survol » la suite du projet « Plans » démarrée en 2015, une interprétation à la peinture à l’huile de vues satellites, de lieux emblématiques ou simplement esthétiques, dans le monde. 10 ans ont passé, Nicolas Noverraz vous propose un survol beaucoup plus local avec les évolutions des images 3D et quelques aberrations de pixels en moins.
La démarche artistique de Nicolas Noverraz traite des sujets de notre société contemporaine. L’artiste interroge la relation entre l’esthétique et la fonction, entre la beauté et la trivialité des objets de consommation ; il cherche, par cette ambivalence, à induire une prise de conscience du spectateur par rapport à notre société.
