An internship to discover the life of legionnaires in ancient Rome. From 7 years old.

Enlist them in the Roman legion!
For two days, they will discover the life of the Roman legionnaires with:
- an initiation to command orders and combat maneuvers, like the famous "turtle". All in Latin!
- an introduction to minting money to evoke the pay of the legionnaires.
- the creation of a signaculum, the soldiers' military identity plate.
- an introduction to archery and sling.
- the creation of a metal slingshot ball.
- an introduction to army coding techniques.
At the end of the two days, children will present all the combat techniques of the Roman legion to their parents, under the orders of their officer.

Un stage de découverte de la vie des légionnaires dans la Rome antique. A partir de 7 ans.

Engagez-les dans la légion romaine !
Pendant deux jours, ils découvriront la vie des légionnaires romains avec :
- une initiation aux ordres de commandement et aux manoeuvres de combat, comme la célèbre "tortue". Le tout en latin !
- une initiation à la frappe de monnaie pour évoquer la solde des légionnaires.
- la réalisation d'un signaculum, la plaque d'identité militaire des soldats.
- une initiation au tir à l'arc et à la fronde.
- la création d'une balle de fronde en métal.
- une initiation aux techniques de codage de l'armée.
Au terme des deux jours, les enfants présenteront toutes les techniques de combat de la légion romaine à leurs parents, sous les ordres de leur officier.

Twee dagen lang ontdekken ze het leven van de Romeinse legionairs met:
- een inleiding tot commando orders en gevechtsmanoeuvres, zoals de beroemde "schildpad". Alles in het Latijn!
- een initiatie van het slaan van geld om de balans van legionairs op te roepen.
- de realisatie van een signaculum, de militaire identiteitsplaat van soldaten.
- een initiatie van boogschieten en slingshot.
- de creatie van een metalen hijsbal.
- een inleiding tot legercoderingstechnieken.
Aan het einde van de twee dagen zullen de kinderen alle gevechtstechnieken van het Romeinse legioen aan hun ouders presenteren, onder bevel van hun officier.
