The Dr. Watson Band
Dennis Watson, the Dr. Watson Band has performed several hundred concerts since then. In 2004, they released an album, “Welcome to the World,” featuring 13 original songs. Originally formed to perform his own compositions, the band’s repertoire has expanded over the years to include rock, blues, and country classics.
For this special blues night at the BAG, the focus will be on the blues, featuring songs by Freddie King, Muddy Waters, the Allman Brothers Band, Jimi Hendrix, and others, and, of course, a few original songs.
The band members are:
- Dennis Watson-Clavier, Vocals;
- Alain Niederhauser: Guitar, Vocals;
- Luc Schuwey: Bass;
- Pascal Jean: Drums;
- And possibly a few surprise guests!!
The Lawdy Mamas
Formed in 2016 in Geneva, The Lawdy Mamas brings together four female musicians from various local bands who share a common passion: the powerful, timeless rock of Steppenwolf.
The band reimagines the sound of this legendary 1970s band, best known for its iconic hit “Born to Be Wild.”
After exploring the many facets of this free-spirited, wild rock, The Lawdy Mamas are expanding their repertoire with covers that take us on a journey through the world of Southern blues and American rock, reinterpreting songs by artists such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and Larkin Poe.

Fondé en 2002 par le pianiste/chanteur/songwriter Americano-Suisse Dennis Watson, le Dr. Watson Band a joué quelques centaines de concerts depuis. En 2004 il a sorti un album, « Welcome to the World » avec 13 chansons originales. Formé à l’origine pour interpréter ses propres compositions, le répertoire a grandi avec les années pour inclure des classics de rock, blues, et country.
Pour cette soirée spéciale blues au BAG, le focus sera sur le blues, avec des morceaux de Freddie King, Muddy Waters, the Allman Bros. Band, Jimi Hendrix et autres, et, bien sûr, quelques chansons originales.
