Florent Marchet grew up in a theatre in the Berry region, an environment that nurtured his stage presence and artistic curiosity from a very early age. A pianist from childhood, he explored classical music, jazz and folk sessions before forging his own sensitive and distinctive path in chanson and pop.
Since his debut album *Gargilesse*, he has established himself as one of the most inventive singer-songwriters on the French music scene. A creator of unique worlds, he has produced memorable projects such as *Rio Baril*, a biting chronicle of an imaginary province, and *Frère Animal*, a social fable. His work blends melancholy, humour, a flair for storytelling and great musical mastery.
More a storyteller than a singer, he is driven by a desire to give a voice to the bit-part players in our collective narrative. With *Mobil Home*, his seventh studio album, conceived in Tunis, Paris and Brussels, Florent Marchet affirms an artistic freedom that is constantly shifting its focus.
Together with his musicians, he will take to the stage at Le Point Favre to present an album that is nomadic, luminous and restless all at once, permeated by otherness and the search for a place that is never quite fixed.

Florent Marchet grandit dans un théâtre du Berry, un environnement qui nourrit très tôt son sens de la scène et sa curiosité artistique. Pianiste dès l’enfance, il traverse la musique classique, le jazz et les folk sessions avant de tracer sa propre voie, sensible et singulière, dans la chanson et la pop.
Depuis son premier album Gargilesse, il s’impose comme l’un des auteurs-compositeurs les plus inventifs de la scène française. Créateur d’univers, il signe des projets marquants comme Rio Baril, chronique mordante d’une province imaginaire, ou Frère Animal, fable sociale. Son œuvre mêle mélancolie, humour, sens du récit et une grande maîtrise musicale.
Plus conteur que chanteur, il revendique le désir de donner voix aux figurants du récit collectif. Avec Mobil Home son septième album studio, conçu entre Tunis, Paris et Bruxelles, Florent Marchet affirme une liberté artistique sans cesse décentrée.
Avec ses musiciens, il présentera sur la scène du Point Favre, un disque nomade, lumineux et inquiet à la fois, traversé par l’altérité et la recherche d’une place jamais tout à fait fixe.
