The “Mathematical Foundations of AI” day, jointly organized by the DATAIA Institute and SCAI, in association with the scientific societies: the Fondation Mathématique Jacques Hadamard (FMJH), the Fondation Sciences Mathématiques de Paris-FSMP, the MALIA group of the Société Française de Statistique and the Société Savante Francophone d'Apprentissage Machine (SSFAM) aims to offer an overview of some promising research directions at the interface between statistical learning and AI.
This new edition will be devoted to the quantification of uncertainties in AI. The day is devoted to three plenary talks given by renowned researchers and specialists in the field: Radu Stoica (Inria Nancy, Institut Elie Cartan de Lorraine), Pietro Congedo (Inria Saclay, CMAP) and Yingzhen Li (Imperial College London, UK). It is also an opportunity for young researchers to present their work via short talks (see call for papers).

La journée “Fondements Mathématiques de l’IA”, organisée conjointement par l'Institut DATAIA et SCAI, en association avec les sociétés scientifiques : la Fondation Mathématique Jacques Hadamard (FMJH), la Fondation Sciences Mathématiques de Paris-FSMP, le groupe MALIA de la Société Française de Statistique et la Société Savante Francophone d'Apprentissage Machine (SSFAM) vise à proposer un panorama de quelques directions de recherche prometteuses à l’interface entre l’apprentissage statistique et l’IA.
Cette nouvelle édition sera consacrée à la quantification d'incertitudes en IA. La journée est consacrée à trois exposés pléniers donnés par des chercheurs renommés et spécialistes du sujet : Radu Stoica (Inria Nancy, Institut Elie Cartan de Lorraine), Pietro Congedo (Inria Saclay, CMAP) et Yingzhen Li (Imperial College London, UK) Elle est aussi l'opportunité pour de jeunes chercheurs de présenter leurs travaux via des exposés courts (voir l'appel à contributions).
