Die junge ägyptische Künstlerin, eine multidisziplinäre Künstlerin, die sich mit bildender Kunst auskennt, kreiert Formen an der Schnittstelle von bildender Kunst und Tanz. Mit EX-otic bietet sie einen immersiven Solo, der die sozialen Konstruktionen und das koloniale Erbe hinterfragt, das in den Blicken eingraviert ist. Durch die Dekonstruktion des Begriffs "exotisch", der lange verwendet wurde, um nicht-westliche Körper zuzuordnen und zu fetischisieren, lenkt der Künstler ihn ab, um daraus einen Raum der Wiederaneignung und Befreiung zu machen. Seine präzise und bewohnte körperliche Handschrift schwankt zwischen Spannung, Langsamkeit und aufgeladenen Schweigen und offenbart einen empfindlichen Transformationsprozess. Gedacht als ein In-situ-Experiment, verblendet die Performance Entfernungen und lädt jeden dazu ein, seinen Platz zu wählen angesichts eines Körpers im Widerstand, im Wandel und auf der Suche nach Freiheit.

Multidisciplinary artist trained in fine arts, the young Egyptian artist creates forms at the crossroads of visual arts and dance. With EX-otic, she offers an immersive solo that questions social constructions and colonial legacies inscribed in the eyes. By deconstructing the term "exotic", long used to assign and fetishize non-Western bodies, the artist diverts it to make it a space of reappropriation and liberation. His body writing, precise and inhabited, oscillates between tension, slowness and charged silences, revealing a sensitive process of transformation. Thought as an in situ experience, the performance blurs distances and invites everyone to choose their place in front of a body in resistance, in mutation and in search of freedom.

Artista multidisciplinare formata nelle belle arti, la giovane artista egiziana crea forme al crocevia delle arti visive e della danza. Con EX-otic, propone un solo immersivo che interroga le costruzioni sociali e le eredità coloniali iscritte negli sguardi. Decostruendo il termine "esotico", a lungo utilizzato per assegnare e feticizzare i corpi non occidentali, l'artista lo distrae per farne uno spazio di riappropriazione e liberazione. La sua scrittura corporea, precisa e abitata, oscilla tra tensione, lentezza e silenzi carichi, rivelando un sensibile processo di trasformazione. Pensata come un esperimento in situ, la performance offusca le distanze e invita tutti a scegliere il proprio posto di fronte ad un corpo in resistenza, in mutazione e alla ricerca di libertà.

Avec EX-otic, elle propose un solo immersif qui interroge les constructions sociales et les héritages coloniaux inscrits dans les regards. En déconstruisant le terme « exotique », longtemps utilisé pour assigner et fétichiser les corps non occidentaux, l’artiste le détourne pour en faire un espace de réappropriation et de libération. Son écriture corporelle, précise et habitée, oscille entre tension, lenteur et silences chargés, révélant un processus sensible de transformation. Artista multidisciplinar formada en bellas artes, la joven artista egipcia crea formas en el cruce de las artes visuales y la danza. Con EX-otic, propone un solo inmersivo que interroga las construcciones sociales y los legados coloniales inscritos en los ojos. Al desconstruir el término «exótico», utilizado durante mucho tiempo para asignar y fetichizar los cuerpos no occidentales, el artista lo desvía para convertirlo en un espacio de reapropiación y liberación. Su escritura corporal, precisa y habitada, oscila entre tensión, lentitud y silencios cargados, revelando un proceso sensible de transformación. Pensada como una experiencia in situ, la performance desdibuja las distancias e invita a cada uno a elegir su lugar frente a un cuerpo en resistencia, en mutación y en búsqueda de libertad.
