Today mainly residential, the district of Remicourt formerly had several factories which, after their closure, are transformed into vast wastelands. The aging beguinages also required adaptation to standards and new arrangements. Since the 1980s, several rehabilitation projects have made it possible to transform these buildings to meet new needs while ensuring the preservation of elements recalling their memory or heritage interest. From the Nain d'Alsace brewery to the Sidoux factory, passing through the Quentin-Barré and Saint-Quentin beguinages as well as the workshops of La Cotonnière, built by architect Denis Honegger, discover with a guide how these buildings have been rehabilitated.
