After the success of I’m leaving but the state remains , Hugues Duchêne continues in a politico-theatrical vein, between biting lucidity and collective energy. This new play has a clear ambition: to look the future straight in the eyes in order to better grasp the present. In three movements, the show goes through fifty years of French anticipation. Hugues Duchêne deploys a "political science-fiction", following the ordinary destiny of a jurist tossed by history. The tone alternates theater-narrative, farce and melancholy. We laugh a lot because anxiety is taken seriously. True to the spirit of the Royal Velours, this show puts speech at the center of the game. A way of reminding us that theatre remains an excellent means of resistance.United Scenes of the North Co-production of La rose des vents + Théâtre du Nord Around the show Audio description: Game.
