Initially there is a fascination for the potato whose history, the stories do not stop calling us. The potato is our mirror. Telling its story means our greed, our vanity but also our intelligence, our hopes. Tell me how you treat the potato and I’ll tell you who you are! Present in all forms, of all varieties and on all continents, the potato tells us its story. How she was accepted, her conquest of the European continent, but also her modern career path between coaching, casting, selection and manipulation … However, it will not be a question of making a lecture or a lecture on the potato, but a show! Historical and introspective journey embodied in a humorous way with the intervention of the animated film dubbed live by the actors. Christophe Moyer invites spectators to question themselves about the life of their ancestors, about theirs through that of the potato.

Au départ il y a une fascination pour la pomme de terre dont l’histoire, les histoires n’en finissent pas de nous interpeller. La pomme de terre est notre miroir. Raconter son histoire c’est dire notre cupidité, notre vanité mais aussi notre intelligence, nos espoirs. Dis-moi comment tu traites la pomme de terre et je te dirais qui tu es ! Présente sous toutes les formes, de toutes les variétés et sur tous les continents, la pomme de terre nous raconte son histoire. Comment elle a été acceptée, sa conquête du continent européen, mais également son parcours moderne entre coaching, casting, sélection et manipulation … Il ne s’agira pourtant pas de faire une conférence ou un cours magistral sur la patate, mais bien un spectacle ! Voyage historique et introspectif incarné de manière humoristique avec l’intervention du film d’animation doublé en direct par les comédiens et comédiennes. Christophe Moyer invite les spectateurs et spectatrices à se questionner sur la vie de leurs ancêtres, sur la leur à travers celle de la patate.

In eerste instantie is er een fascinatie voor de aardappel wiens geschiedenis, de verhalen niet stoppen ons te roepen. De aardappel is onze spiegel. Zijn verhaal vertellen betekent onze hebzucht, onze ijdelheid maar ook onze intelligentie, onze hoop. Vertel me hoe je de aardappel behandelt en ik zal je vertellen wie je bent! De aardappel is aanwezig in alle vormen, van alle rassen en op alle continenten, en vertelt ons zijn verhaal. Hoe ze werd geaccepteerd, haar verovering van het Europese continent, maar ook haar moderne loopbaan tussen coaching, casting, selectie en manipulatie … Het gaat er echter niet om een lezing of een lezing over de aardappel te houden, maar om een show! Historische en introspectieve reis belichaamd op een humoristische manier met de interventie van de animatiefilm die live door de acteurs wordt genoemd. Christophe Moyer nodigt toeschouwers uit zich te vragen over het leven van hun voorouders, over hun leven door dat van de aardappel.
