Der Autor und Geschichtenerzähler David Wahl lädt uns zu einem erstaunlichen, fantasievollen Gespräch über die Kristallkugel ein und geht zurück zur Geschichte, um herauszufinden, wie unsere Vorfahren durch die mineralischen Überreste der Vergangenheit versucht haben, die Zukunft zu lesen.
Causerie, ab 12 Jahren
Jeder hat schon einmal von der Kristallkugel gehört, und jeder weiß, wie sie aussieht. Leider! Alle irren sich, denn die Kristallkugel ist nicht unbedingt aus Kristall und die Kristallkugel hat nicht immer die Form einer Kugel. Woher kommt sie? Wann ist sie erschienen? Was sind ihre unterschiedlichen Fähigkeiten und Verwendungen? Das bleibt hoffnungslos vage, ja verborgen. Wie dem auch sei, es ist unklar. Das ist das erste Paradoxon: Man würde nie glauben, dass ein so trübes Wissen mit der Transparenz eines Objekts einhergehen könnte, das man als so visionär bezeichnet... Dies ist sicherlich der Grund, warum sich bis heute niemand getraut hat, die Geschichte und den Ursprung dieses Vertrages zu erzählen." kündigt David Wahl an.
Nach der spirituellen Geschichte des Tanzes im Jahr 2024 und der Lesung von Das tiefe Leben im Jahr 2025 kehrt David Wahl mit seiner allerersten Unterhaltung nach Neuburg zurück. Ausgangspunkt eines Kuriositätenkabinetts, das er seit etwa zehn Jahren mit Humor und List ausarbeitet, ohne jemals seinen erzählerischen Eifer und sein Staunen zu verlieren.

Tutti hanno sentito parlare della sfera di cristallo, e tutti sanno che aspetto ha. Ahimè! Tutti si sbagliano, perché la sfera di cristallo non è necessariamente fatta di cristallo, e la sfera di cristallo non ha sempre la forma di una sfera. Da dove viene? Quando è apparsa? « Tout le monde a déjà entendu parler de la boule de cristal, et tout le monde sait à quoi elle ressemble. Hélas ! Tout le monde se trompe, car la boule de cristal n’est pas forcément en cristal, et la boule de cristal n’a pas toujours la forme d’une boule. D’où vient-elle ? Quand est-elle apparue ? Quels sont ses pouvoirs et usages différents ? Cela reste désespérément confus, voire caché. Quoiqu’il en soit peu clair. C’est là le premier paradoxe : jamais on ne croirait un savoir aussi trouble assorti à la transparence d’un objet qu’on dit si visionnaire… C’est assurément la raison pour laquelle, jusqu’à ce jour et ce traité, personne ne s’est jamais risqué à en raconter l’histoire et l’origine. » annonce David Wahl.
Après Histoire spirituelle de la danse en 2024 puis la lecture de La vie profonde en 2025, David Wahl revient au Neubourg avec sa toute première causerie, point de départ d’un cabinet de curiosités qu'il élabore avec humour et malice depuis une dizaine d'années sans jamais perdre sa ferveur de conteur et son émerveillement.
S’il n’est pas certain prédire l’avenir avec cette boule de cristal, la magie va opérer à coup sûr !
