Traditional music from Romania, Bulgaria, Greece
An exceptional concert by the Duo Acasa with Christiane Ildevert, double bass and vocals accompanied by Patrice Gabet, tenor violin and vocals for a tribute to traditional music from Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, performed at the Peipin Chapel, whose incredible acoustics enchants more and more musicians.
Between here and there, a bridge, which the two musicians have been building together since 1989, bringing together genres and bringing together audiences of all ages. Romania, Bulgaria and Greece, former countries of the Byzantine Empire then Ottoman kept the rich modal colors, the taste of improvisation, the sound sensuality, the rhythmic complexity, and virtuosity, specific to professional musicians of these countries generally of gypsy origin. Patrice Gabet and Christiane Ildevert have travelled these countries for many years, worked with musicians and dancers and recorded seven albums with the group Aksak, of which they have been part for 30 years.

Una mirada a los Balcanes
Música tradicional de Rumanía, Bulgaria, Grecia
Un concierto excepcional del Duo Acasa con Christiane Ildevert, contrabajo y canto acompañado de Patrice Gabet, violín tenor y canto para un homenaje a las músicas tradicionales de Rumanía, Bulgaria, Grecia, interpretadas en la Capilla de Peipin, cuya increíble acústica encanta cada vez más músicos.
Entre aquí y allá, un puente, que los dos músicos construyen juntos desde 1989, reuniendo los géneros y reuniendo a los públicos de todas las edades. Rumanía, Bulgaria y Grecia, antiguos países del imperio bizantino y luego otomano, han conservado los ricos colores modales, el gusto por la improvisación, la sensualidad sonora, la complejidad rítmica, y el virtuosismo, propios de los músicos profesionales de estas regiones generalmente de origen gitano. Patrice Gabet y Christiane Ildevert han recorrido estos países durante muchos años, han trabajado con músicos y bailarines y han grabado siete álbumes con la banda Aksak, de la que forman parte desde hace 30 años.
