Ein unbewohntes, vom Aussterben bedrohtes Pfarrhaus, mitten auf dem Land verloren. Eine unbekannte Sammlung von Gemälden einer naiven Limousinenmalerei aus dem frühen 20. Jahrhundert...
Was haben sie gemeinsam? Ihre doppelte Rettung, dank der Schaffung eines Museums, das den atypischen Künstlern gewidmet ist: diejenigen, die den Rahmen verlassen, die sich von den Regeln und Normen entfernen.
Hier gibt es Platz für Außenseiter, Außenseiter, Unterschiede.
Hier nimmt man sich Zeit für den Dialog, den Austausch und das Verständnis jener Schöpfer, die einen großen Teil ihres Lebens der Kunst gewidmet haben, mit ihren eigenen, oft bescheidenen Mitteln.
Man geht durch das Tor eines ehrwürdigen Gebäudes an der Kirche, das für dieses kleine Dorf ziemlich monumental ist, und entdeckt einen Ort, der das Alte mit dem Modernen verbindet, Decken im französischen Stil, Quaderstein, Kalkputz und Beton mit dem schönen Aussehen von Rohholz mischt.
Das Musée Cécile Sabourdy präsentiert seine Werke in Ausstellungen, aber auch seine einzigartige Architektur und nimmt das ganze Jahr über an der kulturellen Animation der Region teil.
Ein kleines Juwel, das Sie anlässlich der Europäischen Tage des Kulturerbes entdecken können, ein festliches und kostenloses Wochenende!

This curious presbytery has known a thousand lives. For eight years, he has been highlighting marginal artists (naive, raw & singular) in a unique atmosphere!
An uninhabited vanishing presbytery, lost in the countryside. A little-known collection of paintings by a Limousin naive painter from the early 20th century…
What do they have in common? Their double rescue, thanks to the creation of a museum dedicated to atypical artists: those who go beyond the framework, who move away from codes and norms.
Here, we give the place to the marginal, the outsiders, the difference.
Here, we take the time to dialogue, exchange and understand these creators who have dedicated a good part of their lives to art, with their own means, often modest.
One passes the door of a venerable building adjoining the church, rather monumental for this small village, and one discovers a place that unites the old and the modern, mixing French ceilings, cut stone, lime plaster and concrete stamped with the beautiful appearance of raw wood.
The Cécile Sabourdy Museum showcases its works in exhibition as well as its unique architecture and participates throughout the year in the cultural animation of the territory.

Questo curioso presbiterio ha conosciuto mille vite. Da otto anni, mette in evidenza artisti marginali (ingenui, brutali e singolari) in un'atmosfera unica!
Un presbiterio disabitato in via di estinzione, perso in piena campagna. Una collezione sconosciuta di tele di un'ingenua pittrice limousine, dell'inizio del XX secolo...
Cosa hanno in comune? Il loro doppio salvataggio, grazie alla creazione di un museo dedicato agli artisti atipici: quelli che escono dalla cornice, che si allontanano dai codici e dalle norme.
Qui si dà spazio agli emarginati, agli emarginati, alla differenza.
Qui ci si prende il tempo di dialogare, scambiare e capire questi creatori che hanno dedicato buona parte della loro vita all'arte, con i propri mezzi, spesso modesti.
Si oltrepassa la porta di un venerabile edificio annesso alla chiesa, piuttosto monumentale per questo piccolo villaggio, e si scopre un luogo che unisce l'antico e il moderno, mescolando soffitti alla francese, pietra da taglio, intonaci a calce e cemento impresso al bellissimo aspetto del legno grezzo.
Il Museo Cécile Sabourdy valorizza le sue opere in esposizione ma anche la sua architettura singolare e partecipa tutto l'anno all'animazione culturale del territorio.
Una piccola chicca da scoprire in occasione delle Giornate europee del patrimonio, un fine settimana festivo e gratuito!

Ce curieux presbytère a connu mille vies. Depuis huit ans, il met en avant des artistes marginaux (naïfs, bruts & singuliers) dans une ambiance unique !
Un presbytère inhabité en voie de disparition, perdu en pleine campagne. Une collection méconnue de toiles d’une peintre naïve limousine, du début du XXe siècle…
Leur point commun ? Leur double sauvetage, grâce à la création d’un musée consacré aux artistes atypiques : ceux qui sortent du cadre, qui s’éloignent des codes et des normes.
Ici, on donne la place aux marginaux, aux outsiders, à la différence.
Ici, on prend le temps de dialoguer, d’échanger et de comprendre ces créateurs qui ont dédié une bonne partie de leur vie à l’art, avec leurs propres moyens, souvent modestes.
On passe la porte d’une vénérable bâtisse accolée à l’église, plutôt monumentale pour ce petit village, et on découvre un lieu qui unit l’ancien et le moderne, mélangeant plafonds à la française, pierre de taille, enduits à la chaux et béton estampé au bel aspect de bois brut.
Le Musée Cécile Sabourdy valorise ses œuvres en exposition mais aussi son architecture singulière et participe toute l’année à l’animation culturelle du territoire.

Esta curiosa rectoría ha conocido mil vidas. ¡Desde hace ocho años presenta a artistas marginales (ingenuos, brutos y singulares) en un ambiente único!
Un presbiterio deshabitado en peligro de extinción, perdido en el campo. Una colección desconocida de lienzos de una pintora ingenua limusina, de principios del siglo XX...
¿Qué tienen en común? Su doble rescate, gracias a la creación de un museo dedicado a los artistas atípicos: los que salen del cuadro, que se alejan de los códigos y de las normas.
Aquí se da lugar a los marginados, a los marginados, a la diferencia.
Aquí nos tomamos el tiempo para dialogar, intercambiar y comprender a estos creadores que han dedicado gran parte de su vida al arte, con sus propios medios, a menudo modestos.
Se pasa la puerta de un venerable edificio contiguo a la iglesia, más bien monumental para este pequeño pueblo, y se descubre un lugar que une lo antiguo y lo moderno, mezclando techos a la francesa, piedra tallada, revestidos de cal y hormigón estampado con un bello aspecto de madera en bruto.
El Museo Cécile Sabourdy valoriza sus obras en exposición, pero también su arquitectura singular y participa todo el año en la animación cultural del territorio.
