Die 1874 gegründete Volksbibliothek von Pontivy war bis 1976 im Rathaus tätig.
Ohne einen echten Lesesaal praktiziert sie nur die Ausleihe von Fiktion an ein breites Publikum. Die Stiftungen der Firma Franklin, Schenkungen des Staates, von Privatpersonen und des Päpstlichen Literaturkreises ermöglichen es, die Sammlungen zu erweitern.
Entdecken Sie anlässlich der Europäischen Tage des Kulturerbes eine Auswahl an technischen und wissenschaftlichen Werken aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, die im alten Bestand der Mediathek aufbewahrt werden.

Founded in 1874, the Pontivy Community Library operated as a town hall library until 1976.
Without a real reading room, it only offers home loans of fiction for a large popular audience. The councils of the Franklin Society, donations from the State, individuals and the Pontivyen Literary Circle make it possible to increase the collections.
On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, come and discover a selection of technical and scientific works from the 19th century preserved in the old media library.

Fondata nel 1874, la biblioteca popolare comunale di Pontivy opera fino al 1976 presso il municipio.
Senza una vera e propria sala di lettura, pratica solo il prestito a domicilio di opere di finzione destinate ad un vasto pubblico popolare. I consigli della società Franklin, delle donazioni dello Stato, di privati e del Circolo letterario pontiviano permettono di accrescere le collezioni.
In occasione delle Giornate europee del patrimonio, venite a scoprire una selezione di opere tecniche e scientifiche del XIX secolo conservate nel fondo antico della mediateca.

Sans véritable salle de lecture, elle ne pratique que le prêt à domicile d'ouvrages de fiction destinés à un large public populaire. Les conseils de la société Franklin, des dons de l'Etat, de particuliers et du Cercle littéraire pontivyen permettent d'accroïtre les collections.
À l'occasion des journées européennes du patrimoine, venez découvrir une sélection d'ouvrages techniques et scientifiques du XIXe siècle conservés dans le fonds ancien de la médiathèque.
