In 2001, The choreographer Angelin Preljocaj encountered a prototype of contemporary music signed by Karlheinz Stockhausen. Helikopter is a work with metallic accents that swallows up the dancers on the ground as the sond of the string quartet recorded in flying helicopters is projected on the stage. This performance of Helikopter is followed by a new creation Angelin Preljocaj set to the electronics by Alva Noto and Ryuichi Sakamoto. Still Life, represents allegories of death, of the passage of time, of passions that fade: a precise choreographic writing and an ongoing reflection on these ancestral symbols.

Le chorégraphe Angelin Preljocaj rencontrait, en 2001, un prototype de la musique contemporaine signé Karlheinz Stockhausen. Helikopter est une pièce aux accents métalliques, qui engloutit les danseurs dans le sol, à mesure que s’envole le son du quatuor à cordes enregistré dans des hélicoptères en plein vol et projeté sur la scène. La reprise de Helikopter s’enchaîne à la nouvelle création d’Angelin Preljocaj, sur l’électronique d’Alva Noto et Ryuichi Sakamoto. Still Life, nature morte, représente des allégories de la mort, du temps qui fuit et des passions qui passent : une écriture chorégraphique spécifique et une réflexion actuelle sur ces symboles ancestraux.
