Pedro Makay nous partage son journal de bord créatif où convergent ses travaux appliqués (piano classique, guitare classique) et chemins buissonniers : en Jamaïque, pour une plongée en terres mento, calypso et soca, puis à proximité d’artistes africains ou sud-américains. Ce sont toutes ces étapes qui ont permis à Pedro Makay de créer un monde à lui, un langage musical à part, poétique en même temps que propice à la danse !

Pedro Makay deelt zijn creatieve dagboek waar zijn toegepaste werken (klassieke piano, klassieke gitaar) en busissonniers samenkomen: In Jamaica, voor een duik in mento, calypso en Soca lands, en dan dicht bij Afrikaanse of Zuid-Amerikaanse kunstenaars. Het zijn al deze stappen die Pedro Makay in staat stelden een eigen wereld te creëren, een muzikale taal apart, poëtisch op hetzelfde moment als bevorderlijk voor dansen!
