Die Kirche Saint-Pierre und Saint-Paul, auch Kathedrale genannt, wäre mit einem majestätischen Eisenschiff durch sein Metallgerüst vergleichbar, das vom Industrieunternehmen Joly, Designer der Baltard-Hallen, hergestellt wurde. Als Symbol der Metallarchitektur in Guadeloupe wurde sie am 5. April 2021 von der Mission Stéphane Bern - Heritage Loto als emblematisches Denkmal für Guadeloupe ausgewählt, das restauriert werden muss. Zu diesem Zweck wird auf der Website www.fondation-patrimoine.org/76099 eine Bezugsliste erstellt.
