Made up, costumed, made-up and damn disillusioned, Samir Kennedy drags his melancholic clown carcass while sowing in his wake a decadent beauty that one feels at any moment ready to tip toward monstrosity. Angel or fallen king, bearer of an overflowing sensuality that throbs beneath his shabby appearance, he brings together in one body majesty and human vulnerability. We find ourselves plunged into an end-of-evening atmosphere to witness the stubborn dance of this trash Sisyphus, struggling against the terror, absurdity and boredom that the world drains. Intoxicating like a last lap before the apocalypse, Chaos Ballad draws the audience between concert, wild cabaret and prophetic nightmare.

Grimé, costumé, maquillé et sacrément désabusé, Samir Kennedy charrie sa carcasse de clown mélancolique en semant dans son sillon une beauté décadente, que l’on sent à tout moment prête à basculer vers la monstruosité. Ange ou roi déchu, porteur d’une sensualité débordante qui palpite sous sa dégaine décatie, il réunit en un seul corps la majesté et la vulnérabilité humaine. Nous voilà plongé·e·s dans une ambiance fin de soirée pour assister à la danse entêtée de ce Sisyphe trash, en lutte contre la terreur, l’absurdité et l’ennui que draine le monde. Enivrant comme un dernier tour de piste avant l’apocalypse, Chaos Ballad entraine le public entre concert, cabaret sauvage et cauchemar prophétique.
