On an almost bare stage, ten dancers create a sonic and visual landscape in which movements, breaths and voices rustle, converge and resonate, gradually forming, almost by accident, a collective body governed by a mysterious and indecipherable logic. Inspired by the music of Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis, and in particular his monumental work Axion Esti, My Fierce Ignorant Step seeks to uncover, within our shared memory, the sensations of childhood and adolescence.
Following Mycelium, Greek choreographer Christos Papadopoulos continues his exploration of a dance language deeply rooted in the living world, developing here a choreographic writing in which the musicality of movement and the breathing of bodies merge into a single organic language.

Sur une scène presque nue, dix danseuses et danseurs composent un paysage sonore et visuel où les gestes, les souffles, les voix bruissent, s’accordent, résonnent, jusqu’à former, comme par accident, un corps collectif animé d’une logique mystérieuse et indéchiffrable. Inspiré par la musique du compositeur grec Mikis Theodorákis, et plus particulièrement sa pièce monumentale Axion Esti, My Fierce Ignorant Step – en français, “mon pas féroce et ignorant” – cherche dans notre mémoire collective à retrouver nos sensations d’enfance et d’adolescence.
Après Mycelium, le chorégraphe grec Christos Papadopoulos poursuit l’exploration d’une danse profondément ancrée dans le vivant, en travaillant tout particulièrement ici une écriture chorégraphique qui mêle la musicalité des gestes et la respiration des corps dans un même langage organique.
