Die Fotografie verbreitete sich in der Mitte des 19. Format, Schnelligkeit und Licht bringen neue ästhetische Maßstäbe. Die Malkunst nimmt sie auf, reagiert aber mit einem stärker sensorischen Ansatz und überträgt farbige Gefühle oder Vorstellungen. Genau das bietet diese Sarah-Jérôme-Ausstellung.
Ausgeführt in einer Rechnung, in der die Spuren und Streichungen Teil des kreativen Prozesses sind, werden die Gemälde von Sarah Jérôme mit leuchtenden und sprudelnden Farben im Öl auf einer dicken Ebene realisiert. Sein künstlerischer Ansatz verstärkt die Behandlung von Licht und die Art, flüchtige Momente festzuhalten.
Sarah Jérôme wurde 1979 in Rennes geboren. Sie lebt und arbeitet in Montreuil. Sie absolvierte das Conservatoire national supérieur de danse de Paris und setzte ihre Ausbildung an der Opéra national de Lyon fort. Ihr Wunsch, die Erforschung von Form und Inhalt weiter zu treiben, führte sie an die Pariser Kunstakademie, wo sie ihre Praxis der bildenden Kunst verfeinerte.

Sarah Jérôme was born in 1979 in Rennes. She lives and works in Montreuil. Graduated from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Danse in Paris, she continued her apprenticeship at the Opéra National de Lyon. Her desire to push further the exploration of form and content led her to the Beaux-Arts de Paris, where she refined her practice of visual arts.
This eclectic journey has nourished his artistic approach, marked by a sensitivity that is both rich and nuanced, at the intersection of dance and visual arts. She defends today a figurative and introspective practice through painting, drawing, sculpture, installation and performance.
