Château de Cadouzan
Das Schloss von Cadouzan liegt mitten auf dem Land, zwischen Feldern und Wäldern. Es ist eine alte Festung, deren erste schriftliche Spur aus dem Jahr 1280 stammt; es besteht aus der Burg, einer befestigten Mauer mit Türmen, einem Graben und einem Graben, die zum Schutz des südlichen Ufers der Vilaine dienten, natürliche Grenze der Baronie La Roche Bernard.
Zwischen Wikingerinvasionen, Kreuzzügen, dem Erbfolgekrieg des Herzogtums und der Verbindung der Bretagne mit Frankreich ist die Geschichte von Cadouzan reich.
Von der ersten Burg und sogar von der zweiten sind nur noch die Fundamente, die inneren Mauern und die wiederverwendeten Steine übrig geblieben; und im 16. Jahrhundert findet Cadouzan das Aussehen wieder, das ihm bekannt ist, da es vollständig rekonstruiert wurde, mit einer imposanten Granittreppe in der Mitte, die zu dieser Zeit in der Bretagne untypisch war und fast überdimensioniert ist.
Zeuge der ersten protestantischen Ehe in der Bretagne, zu einer Zeit als der Adel im katholischen Britannien protestantisch war, wurde Cadouzan vom 12. bis zum Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts von Frauen an Familien weitergegeben und seitdem nur zweimal verkauft.

Château de Cadouzan
Sitting in the middle of the countryside, between fields and woods, the castle of Cadouzan is an old fortified place whose first written record dates from 1280; composed of the castle, a walled enclosure of towers, moats and ditches that served to protect the south bank of the Vilaine, natural border of the Barony of La Roche Bernard.
Between Viking invasions, crusades, war of succession of the duchy and annexation of Brittany to France, the history of Cadouzan is rich.
Of the first castle, and even the second there are only the foundations, internal walls and reused stones; and it is in the sixteenth century that Cadouzan finds the physiognomy that we know him, since it is totally rebuilt, with in its center an imposing granite staircase, atypical in Brittany at that time, and almost oversized.
Witness the first Protestant marriage in Brittany, at a time when the nobility was Protestant in a Catholic Brittany, Cadouzan was passed on by women, from family to family, from the 12th to the end of the 19th century; and has since been sold only twice.

Château de Cadouzan
Seduto in piena campagna, tra campi e boschi, il castello di Cadouzan è un'antica fortezza la cui prima traccia scritta risale al 1280; composto dal castello, da una cinta murata di torri, fossati e fossato che servivano a proteggere la riva sud della Vilaine, confine naturale della baronia di La Roche Bernard.
Tra invasioni vichinghe, crociate, guerra di successione del ducato e annessione della Bretagna alla Francia, la storia di Cadouzan è ricca.
Del primo castello, e anche del secondo, rimangono solo le fondamenta, le mura interne e le pietre riutilizzate; ed è nel XVI secolo che Cadouzan ritrova la fisionomia che gli è nota, poiché è completamente ricostruito, con al centro un'imponente scalinata in granito, atipica in Bretagna a quel tempo, e quasi sovradimensionata.
Testimone del primo matrimonio protestante in Bretagna, in un'epoca in cui la nobiltà era protestante in una Bretagna cattolica, Cadouzan si è trasferito dalle donne, di famiglia in famiglia, dal XII fino alla fine del XIX secolo; e da allora è stato venduto solo due volte.

Château de Cadouzan
Sentado en plena campiña, entre campos y bosques, el castillo de Cadouzan es una antigua plaza fuerte cuya primera huella escrita data de 1280; compuesto por el castillo, un recinto amurallado de torres, zanjas y fosos que servían para proteger la orilla sur del Vilaine, frontera natural de la Baronía de La Roche Bernard.
Entre invasiones vikingas, cruzadas, guerra de sucesión del ducado y anexión de Bretaña a Francia, la historia de Cadouzan es rica.
Del primer castillo, e incluso del segundo solo quedan los cimientos, las paredes interiores y las piedras reutilizadas; y es en el siglo XVI que Cadouzan encuentra la fisonomía que se le conoce, ya que está totalmente reconstruido, con en su centro una imponente escalera de granito, atípica en Bretaña en aquella época, y casi sobredimensionada.
