Die Werke von Benoît Piéron bieten Erfahrungen der Zeitsperre, des Wartens, der Halluzination und des Träumens durch den Missbrauch einer funktionellen und sanitären Ästhetik. Indem sie die Sanftheit und das Verlangen wieder dorthin einfügt, wo sie evakuiert wurden, entfaltet der Künstler alternative Erzählungen um Körper, Affekte und Räume, die mit der Krankheit verbunden sind.
Die Ausstellung präsentiert einen erotischen und abstrakten Film in Form eines Schattentheaters, der in einer beunruhigend fremdartigen Inszenierung gezeigt wird. Diese unklare Kulisse, die sowohl dem funktionalen städtischen Design als auch dem Register des Wunderbaren entlehnt ist, formt den Begriff der Vergänglichkeit - von Status, Identitäten, physischen und psychischen Zuständen - zu einem Ort kollektiver Vorstellungskraft.

The works of Benoît Piéron offer experiences of suspended time, waiting, hallucination and daydreaming through the diversion of a functional and sanitary aesthetic. By reinserting gentleness and desire where they have been evacuated, the artist deploys alternative narratives around bodies, affects and spaces related to illness.
The exhibition presents an erotic and abstract film in the form of a shadow theatre, projected in a setting of disturbing strangeness. Borrowing from functional urban design as well as the register of the wonderful, this troubled setting gives shape to the notion of impermanence – statuses, identities, physical and mental states – to become a place of collective imagination.

L'esposizione presenta un film erotico e astratto sotto forma di un teatro d'ombre, proiettato in una messa in scena di una inquietante stranezza. Attingendo al design funzionale urbano come al registro del meraviglioso, questo scenario confuso dà forma alla nozione di impermanenza - degli statuti, delle identità, degli stati fisici e psichici - per diventare un luogo di immaginazione collettiva.

En réinsérant de la douceur et du désir où ils ont été évacués, l’artiste déploie des récits alternatifs autour des corps, des affects et des espaces liés à la maladie.
L’exposition présente un film érotique et abstrait sous la forme d’un théâtre d’ombres, projeté dans une mise en scène d’une inquiétante étrangeté. Empruntant au design fonctionnel urbain comme au registre du merveilleux, ce décor trouble donne forme à la notion d’impermanence – des statuts, des identités, des états physiques et psychiques – pour devenir un lieu d’imagination collective.

Las obras de Benoît Piéron proponen experiencias de tiempo suspendido, de espera, de alucinación y de sueño mediante el desvío de una estética funcional y sanitaria. Al volver a insertar la dulzura y el deseo donde fueron evacuados, el artista despliega narraciones alternativas en torno a los cuerpos, los afectos y los espacios relacionados con la enfermedad.
La exposición presenta una película erótica y abstracta en forma de un teatro de sombras, proyectada en una puesta en escena de una inquietante rareza. Tomando como base tanto el diseño funcional urbano como el registro del maravilloso, este paisaje turbio da forma a la noción de impermanencia -de los estatutos, las identidades, los estados físicos y psíquicos- para convertirse en un lugar de imaginación colectiva.
