Die cistercienne Abtei Auberive, Alba Ripa, 1135 von Bernhardiner und einigen der Abtei von Clairvaux gekommenen Mönchen gegründet, ist ein Zeuge der großen Bewegungen unserer Geschichte. Sie schützt, in ihrem Park von sechseinhalb Hektar, Obstbäume Konservatorium ehemaliger Obstvarietés ebenfalls.
Die Abtei, das 24. Mädchen von Clairvaux, sein Höhepunkt in den Besitzfristen(Besitzenden) im XIII. Jahrhundert erreicht. Kloster der Ordnung(Auftrages), der bis zur Revolution ist cistercien, sie wird dann verkauft werden wie sehr national. In der Folge ist die Abtei so manches Mal im Laufe der Jahrhunderte entsprechend entsprechend ihrer Beschäftigung(Besetzung) geändert worden. Sie war besonders eine Spinnerei der französischen Revolution, dann Ferien an Anfang des XIX. Jahrhunderts, Gefängnis für Frauen vom 1856 bis zum 1894 dann für Kinder nach bis 1924. Die Mönche kehren in die Abtei in der Folge zurück und mehrere Gemeinschaften folgen bis 1960. Da kauft das Unternehmen Solvay sie wieder, um daraus eine Ferienkolonie zu machen. Die Abtei, teilweise und schrittweise, ist von einer Unterschutzstellung(Einordnen) den historischen Denkmälern gemäß seit 1956 Gegenstand gewesen.
Seit 2006 schützt sie das Zentrum zeitgenössischer Kunst der Abtei von Auberive (Öffnung vom 2. Juni bis zum 29. September 2019), ein verkannten oder mündigen Künstlern gewidmeter Ort expressionistes, roh, eigenartig.

The cistercienne abbey of Auberive, Alba Ripa, based(established) in 1135 by Saint Bernard and some monks come of the abbey of Clairvaux is a witness(baton) of the big(great) movements of our history(story). She(It) also shelters, in her(its) six and a half hectare park, a protective orchard of fruiterers' old(former) varieties.

L’abbaye, 24ème fille de Clairvaux, atteint son apogée en termes de possessions au XIIIème. Monastère de l'ordre cistercien jusqu'à la révolution, elle sera ensuite vendue comme bien national. Par la suite, l'abbaye a été modifiée maintes fois au cours des siècles en fonction de son occupation. Elle a, notamment, été une filature après la révolution française, puis une villégiature au début du XIXe, une prison pour femmes de 1856 à 1894, puis pour enfants jusqu'en 1924. Les moines réintègrent l'abbaye par la suite et plusieurs communautés se succèdent jusqu'en 1960. Là, l'entreprise Solvay la rachète pour en faire une colonie de vacances. L'abbaye, partiellement et progressivement, a fait l’objet d’un classement au titre des monuments historiques depuis 1956.
Depuis 2006, elle abrite le Centre d'art contemporain de l'abbaye d'Auberive (ouverture du 8 juin au 28 septembre 2025), un lieu consacré à des artistes majeurs ou méconnus expressionistes, bruts, singuliers.
