La Chapelle-des-Pots ist ein emblematischer Ort der Töpferei in Saintonge und bekannt für die Vielfalt seiner Produktionen, die vom 13. bis zum 18. Jahrhundert entwickelt wurden. Seit fast fünfzig Jahren haben zufällige Entdeckungen, Bohrungen und archäologische Ausgrabungen dazu beigetragen, seine Werkstätten besser kennenzulernen, insbesondere durch die Wiederentdeckung von Deponien und Töpferöfen.
Anlässlich dieser einzigartigen Präsentation entdecken Sie die Töpferöfen von La Chapelle-des-Pots durch eine Ausstellung von Tafeln und einen Spaziergang im Dorf. Eine originelle Art, die Spuren dieser handwerklichen Tätigkeit wiederzufinden, die die Geschichte der Gemeinde tief geprägt hat.

Emblematic place of pottery production in Saintonge, La Chapelle-des-Pots is renowned for the diversity of its productions, developed from the 13th to the 18th century. For nearly fifty years, fortuitous discoveries, surveys and archaeological excavations have made it possible to better know its workshops, notably through the uncovering of dumps and potters' kilns.
On the occasion of this unique presentation, discover the potters' ovens of La Chapelle-des-Pots through an exhibition of panels and a stroll in the village. An original way to find the traces of this artisanal activity that has profoundly marked the history of the town.
