Ein wenig Geschichte Bei der Inventur von 1973 wird in dem beschreibenden Dokument die Stellung des Gebäudes in der historischen und archäologischen Entwicklung des Kantons wiedergegeben. Hier sind die Bedingungen: Die Kirche von Amfreville-sur-Iton ist eines der schönsten Kirchengebäude des Kantons Louviers. Der feinkörnige Kalkstein ist in allen seinen Teilen dort, der einzige und zu allen Zeiten besonders gut gefertigte Bestandteil. Wie in allen Kirchen des Kantons war das 16. Jahrhundert eine Zeit großen Aufbaus. Die Architektur des Chors ist ziemlich ähnlich der von La Vacherie, Acguigny oder Pinterville, aber dieser ist der einzige vollständig gewölbte. Der steinerne Glockenturm, der im Verhältnis zum Gebäude sehr wichtig ist, ist von überlegener Bedeutung als der Mesnil-Jourdain-Glockenturm (Ähnlichkeit mit dem Treppenturm). Beide sind besonders gut gebaut (Qualität der Füllungen). Der Reichtum des Schlosses von Amfreville, das direkt neben der Kirche erbaut wurde, ist mit der südlichen Kapelle des Chores zu verbinden, deren Gewölbe für diese Zeit das reichste im Kanton ist. Der Chor, die südliche Kapelle und der Glockenturm verbinden nahtlos die flamboyante und wiedergeborene Dekoration." Der älteste Teil (Neff) stammt aus dem 12. Jahrhundert. Im 16. Jahrhundert wurden ein Turm hinzugefügt, der den Glockenturm, den Chor und die Herrenkapelle trägt. Die Eingangshalle stammt aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Es werden bewegliche Elemente klassifiziert, insbesondere eine seltene Darstellung der Dreifaltigkeit aus dem 16. Jahrhundert. Interessante Statuen und Gemälde sollten restauriert werden. A bit of history During the 1973 inventory, the descriptive document resumes the place of the building in the historical and archaeological evolution of the canton. Here are the terms: The church of Amfreville-sur-Iton is one of the most beautiful parish buildings in the canton of Louviers. The fine-grained limestone is there in all its parts, the only employed and particularly well equipped, at all times. «As in all the churches of the canton, the sixteenth century is a period of great construction. The architecture of the chancel is quite similar to that of La Vacherie, Acguigny or Pinterville, but this one is the only fully vaulted. The stone bell tower, very important in relation to the building, is of greater proportion than the bell tower of Mesnil-Jourdain (similarity of the turret stair). Both are particularly well built (quality of execution of the fillings). The richness of the château d'Amfreville, built right next to the church, is linked with the south chapel of the chancel, whose vaulting is the richest, for that time, in the canton. The choir, the south chapel and the bell tower blend seamlessly with the flamboyant and resurgent decoration.” The oldest part (nave) dates from the 12th century. In the 16th century, a tower was added to carry the bell tower, the chancel and the seigneurial chapel. The entrance porch dates from the 17th century. Some furniture elements are classified, in particular a rare representation of the Trinity dating from the 16th century. Interesting statues and paintings deserve to be restored. Un po' di storia Durante l'inventario del 1973, il documento descrittivo riprende il posto dell'edificio nell'evoluzione storica e archeologica del cantone. La chiesa di Amfreville-sur-Iton è uno dei più bei edifici parrocchiali del cantone di Louviers. La pietra calcarea a grana fine vi è in tutte le sue parti, l'unica impiegata e particolarmente ben equipaggiata, in ogni epoca. «Come in tutte le chiese del cantone, il XVI secolo è stato un periodo di grande costruzione. L'architettura del coro è abbastanza simile a quella di La Vacherie, Acguigny o Pinterville, ma questo è l'unico interamente ad arco. Il campanile in pietra, molto importante rispetto all'edificio, è di proporzioni maggiori del campanile di Mesnil-Jourdain (somiglianza della torretta di scala). Entrambi sono particolarmente ben costruiti (qualità di esecuzione dei riempimenti). La ricchezza del castello di Amfreville, costruito proprio accanto alla chiesa, è da legare con la cappella sud del coro, la cui volta è la più ricca, per quell'epoca, nel cantone. Il coro, la cappella sud e il campanile mescolano senza soluzione di continuità le decorazioni sgargianti e rinascimentali.» La parte più antica (navata) risale al XII secolo. Nel XVI secolo sono state aggiunte una torre che porta il campanile, il coro e la cappella signorile. Il porticato d'ingresso risale al XVII secolo. Sono classificati elementi mobili, in particolare una rara rappresentazione della Trinità risalente al XVI secolo. Alcune statue e dipinti interessanti meritano di essere restaurati. La chiesa è oggetto di lavori di restauro. Nel 2022, l'elettricità è stata ripristinata. La prossima tranche riguarderà il restauro interno.

Un peu d'Histoire Lors de l’inventaire de 1973, le document descriptif reprend la place de l’édifice dans l’évolution historique et archéologique du canton. En voici les termes : L’église d’Amfreville-sur-Iton est l’un des plus beaux édifices paroissiaux du canton de Louviers. La pierre calcaire à grain fin y est dans toutes ses parties, la seule employée et particulièrement bien appareillée, à toutes les époques. « Comme dans l'ensemble des églises du canton, le XVIème siècle est une période de grande construction. L'architecture du choeur est assez proche de celle de La Vacherie, d'Acguigny ou de Pinterville, mais celui-ci est le seul entièrement voûté. Le clocher de pierre, très important par rapport à l'édifice, est de mène proportion que le clocher de Mesnil-Jourdain (similitude de la tourelle d'escalier). Tous deux sont particulièrement bien construits (qualité d'exécution des remplages). La richesse du château d'Amfreville, construit juste à côté de l'église, est à lier avec la chapelle sud du choeur, dont le voûtement est le plus riche, pour cette époque, dans le canton. Le choeur, la chapelle sud et le clocher, mêlent sans heurt, la décoration flamboyante et renaissante. » La partie la plus ancienne (nef) date du XIIème. Au XVIème ont été ajoutés une tour qui porte le clocher, le choeur et la chapelle seigneuriale. Le porche d’entrée, date, lui, du XVIIème siècle. Des éléments mobiliers sont classés, en particulier une rare représentation de la Trinité datant du XVIème siècle. Des statues et tableaux intéressants mériteraient d’être restaurés. L'église fait l'objet de travaux de restauration. En 2022, l'électricité a été remise aux normes. La prochaine tranche concertera la restauration intérieure.

La iglesia de Amfreville-sur-Iton es uno de los edificios parroquiales más bellos del cantón de Louviers. La piedra caliza de grano fino está allí en todas sus partes, la única empleada y particularmente bien aparejada, en todas las épocas. «Como en el conjunto de las iglesias del cantón, el siglo XVI es un período de gran construcción. La arquitectura del coro es bastante similar a la de La Vacherie, Acguigny o Pinterville, pero este es el único completamente abovedado. El campanario de piedra, muy importante en relación al edificio, es de la mayor proporción que el campanario de Mesnil-Jourdain (semejanza de la torreta de escalera). Ambos están particularmente bien construidos (calidad de ejecución de los rellenos). La riqueza del castillo de Amfreville, construido justo al lado de la iglesia, está en relación con la capilla sur del coro, cuya bóveda es la más rica, para esa época, en el cantón. El coro, la capilla sur y el campanario, combinan sin problemas la decoración flamante y renacentista.» La parte más antigua (nave) data del siglo XII. En el siglo XVI se añadió una torre que lleva el campanario, el coro y la capilla señorial. El pórtico de entrada data del siglo XVII. Se clasifican elementos muebles, en particular una rara representación de la Trinidad que data del siglo XVI. Algunas estatuas y pinturas interesantes merecen ser restauradas. La iglesia está siendo objeto de trabajos de restauración. En 2022, la electricidad volvió a los estándares. El próximo tramo se referirá a la restauración interior.
