Kommentierter Besuch der Kapelle des Edouard HERRIOT-Krankenhauses durch das Seelsorgeteam der Baustelle. Die Gelegenheit, dieses historische Werk von Tony GARNIER zu entdecken; Die Kapelle des Édouard-Herriot-Krankenhauses von Lyon befindet sich im Krankenhauskomplex, der seit 1920 vom lyonesischen Architekten Tony Garnier im Viertel Grange-Blanche errichtet wurde. Das ursprüngliche Projekt dieses Krankenhauses, das 1934 von Albert Lebrun eingeweiht wurde, sah keine Kapelle vor. Nach dem Abriss des Krankenhauses der Charité und auf Beschluss des Gemeinderats und des Bürgermeisters Édouard Herriot kamen die Schwestern des Krankenhauses der Charité und diejenigen des Hôtel-Dieu, um diese neuen Räumlichkeiten zu besetzen, sobald sie fertiggestellt waren. Tony Garnier vertraute die Realisierung des Kulturgebäudes einem seiner Schüler, Louis Thomas, an, der 1924 sein Atelier aufgenommen hatte.

Guided tour of the Chapel of the Edouard HERRIOT hospital, by the site’s chaplaincy team. The opportunity to discover this heritage poeuvre by Tony GARNIER; The chapel of the Édouard-Herriot Hospital in Lyon is located in the hospital complex built in the Grange-Blanche district by the Lyonnais architect Tony Garnier from 1920. The initial project of this hospital, inaugurated by President Albert Lebrun in 1934, did not provide for a chapel. Following the demolition of the Hôpital de la Charité and by decision of the municipal council and mayor Édouard Herriot, the sisters of the Hôpital de la Charité and those of the Hôtel-Dieu came to occupy these new premises as soon as they were completed. Tony Garnier thus entrusted the construction of the cult building to one of his students, Louis Thomas, who had joined his workshop in 1924.

L'occasione di scoprire questa opera storica di Tony GARNIER; La cappella dell'ospedale Édouard-Herriot di Lione si trova nel complesso ospedaliero costruito nel quartiere di Grange-Blanche dall'architetto lionese Tony Garnier a partire dal 1920. Il progetto iniziale di questo ospedale, inaugurato dal presidente della Repubblica Albert Lebrun nel 1934, non prevedeva una cappella. A seguito della demolizione dell'Ospedale della Carità e su decisione del consiglio comunale e del sindaco Édouard Herriot, le suore dell'Ospedale della Carità e quelle dell'Hôtel-Dieu occuparono questi nuovi locali non appena furono completati. Tony Garnier affidò così la realizzazione dell'edificio cultuale a uno dei suoi allievi, Louis Thomas, che era entrato nel suo studio nel 1924.

L'occasion de découvrir cette poeuvre patrimonial de Tony GARNIER ; La chapelle de l'hôpital Édouard-Herriot de Lyon est située dans le complexe hospitalier construit au quartier de Grange-Blanche par l'architecte lyonnais Tony Garnier à compter de 1920. Le projet initial de cet hôpital, inauguré par le président de la République Albert Lebrun en 1934, ne prévoyait pas de chapelle. Par suite de la démolition de l'hôpital de la Charité et sur décision du conseil municipal et du maire Édouard Herriot, les sœurs de l'hôpital de la Charité et celles de l'Hôtel-Dieu vinrent occuper ces nouveaux locaux dès leur achèvement. Tony Garnier confia ainsi la réalisation de l'édifice cultuel à un de ses élèves, Louis Thomas, qui avait intégré son atelier en 1924.

La ocasión de descubrir esta obra patrimonial de Tony GARNIER; La capilla del hospital Édouard-Herriot de Lyon está situada en el complejo hospitalario construido en el barrio de Grange-Blanche por el arquitecto lionés Tony Garnier a partir de 1920. El proyecto inicial de este hospital, inaugurado por el presidente de la República Albert Lebrun en 1934, no preveía una capilla. Tras la demolición del hospital de la Charité y por decisión del consejo municipal y del alcalde Édouard Herriot, las hermanas del hospital de la Charité y las del Hôtel-Dieu ocuparon estos nuevos locales tan pronto como se completaron. Tony Garnier confió la realización del edificio cultual a uno de sus alumnos, Louis Thomas, que había integrado su taller en 1924.
