Von Dorf zu Dorf und von einem Ort zum anderen, wie so viele kleine Inseln inmitten eines Ozeans von Ackerland, vereint der Parcours Archipel mehrere künstlerische Vorschläge, die unsere Sichtweise auf das Gebiet hinterfragen.
In verschiedenen öffentlichen oder privaten Bereichen entfalten sich die Werke als eine Fortsetzung der Tätigkeit von La Chapelle Jeanne d'Arc, einem Zentrum für zeitgenössische Kunst von nationalem Interesse.
Mit Ptôse betritt der Künstler Simon Feydieu den Hof und installiert eine sowohl vertraute als auch verwirrende Struktur. Man erkennt dort die Form des Bogens, die von der religiösen Architektur und insbesondere vom umliegenden gotischen Erbe übernommen wurde. Dieser prägt das Viertel, in dem Herr Barré sein Haus bauen ließ, tief und spiegelt die Stiftskirche des Schlosses der Herzöge von La Trémoille wider.
Die Sammlungen des Museums, reich an mehreren hundert Gegenständen, die mit dem lokalen Erbe verbunden sind, stehen im Einklang mit der von den Gelehrten der Thouarsais gezeichneten Leitlinie. Fayencen, archäologische Fundstücke, Gemälde und Skulpturen werden hier präsentiert.
Im Rahmen von Archipel wird diese Ausstellung durch Confluence #2 ergänzt, die Werke aus der Artothek von Châtellerault vereint. Neben den Museumssammlungen präsentiert, fügen sich diese manchmal mit ihnen visuell, konzeptuell oder humorvoll ein.

From village to village and from one site to another, like so many islets in the middle of an ocean of cultivated land, the Archipel itinerary brings together several artistic proposals that question our way of looking at the territory.
In different spaces, public or private, the works unfold as an extension of the activity of La Chapelle Jeanne d'Arc, a contemporary art center of national interest.
With Ptôse, the artist Simon Feydieu invests the courtyard by installing a structure that is both familiar and confusing. One recognizes the shape of the arch, inherited from religious architecture and especially from the surrounding Gothic heritage. This deeply marks the district in which Monsieur Barré had his house built, echoing the collegiate church of the castle of the Dukes of La Trémoille.
The museum’s collections, rich in several hundred objects related to local heritage, are part of the guideline set by Thouarsais scholars. Earthenware, archaeological objects, paintings and sculptures are presented there.
As part of Archipel, this exhibition is complemented by Confluence #2, which brings together works from the Châtellerault art library. Presented alongside the museum’s collections, these sometimes blend with them, visually, conceptually or humorously.

In diversi spazi, pubblici o privati, le opere si dispiegano come un prolungamento dell'attività de La Chapelle Jeanne d'Arc, Centro d'arte contemporanea di interesse nazionale.
Con Ptôse, l'artista Simon Feydieu investe la corte installandovi una struttura al tempo stesso familiare e sconcertante. Vi si riconosce la forma dell'arco, ereditata dall'architettura religiosa e in particolare dal patrimonio gotico circostante. Questo segna profondamente il quartiere in cui il signor Barré fece costruire la sua casa, in eco della collegiata del castello dei duchi di La Trémoille.
Le collezioni del museo, ricche di diverse centinaia di oggetti legati al patrimonio locale, si iscrivono nella linea direttrice tracciata dagli studiosi thouarsais. Vi sono in particolare presentate maioliche, oggetti archeologici, dipinti e sculture.
Nell'ambito di Archipel, questa esposizione è completata da Confluence #2, che riunisce opere provenienti dall'artoteca di Châtellerault. Presentate accanto alle collezioni del museo, queste a volte si fondono con esse, visivamente, concettualmente o con umorismo.

De village en village et d’un site à l’autre, comme autant d’îlots au milieu d’un océan de terres cultivées, le parcours Archipel réunit plusieurs propositions artistiques qui interrogent notre manière de regarder le territoire.
Dans différents espaces, publics ou privés, les œuvres se déploient comme un prolongement de l’activité de La Chapelle Jeanne d’Arc, Centre d’art contemporain d’intérêt national.
Avec Ptôse, l’artiste Simon Feydieu investit la cour en y installant une structure à la fois familière et déroutante. On y reconnaît la forme de l’arche, héritée de l’architecture religieuse et notamment du patrimoine gothique environnant. Celui-ci marque profondément le quartier dans lequel Monsieur Barré fit construire sa maison, en écho à la collégiale du château des ducs de La Trémoille.
Les collections du musée, riches de plusieurs centaines d’objets liés au patrimoine local, s’inscrivent dans la ligne directrice tracée par les érudits thouarsais. Faïences, objets archéologiques, peintures et sculptures y sont notamment présentés.
