Die Kirche Saint-Joseph von Nessa wurde zwischen 1753 und 1783 auf Initiative des Priesters Don Gregorio Salvini erbaut, der auch Abgeordneter der Balagne und Autor «Giustificazione della Revoluzione di Corsica» war. Er beschloss den Bau und folgte den Arbeiten. Bei seinem Tod 1789 wird er übrigens am Fuß eines der Säulen der Kirche begraben. Das Innere der Kirche ist mit drei großen Gemälden über den Altaren geschmückt. Auf dem Hauptaltar thront die Madonna in Rosenkranz, ein Werk des bastischen Künstlers Giovan Battista Moro, der im 18. Jahrhundert bekannt war und als historisches Denkmal eingetragen wurde. Über den beiden Seitenaltären befindet sich ein anonymes Gemälde der Jungfrau Maria und ein 1842 von einem Orsini gemaltes Gemälde «Die Seelen des Fegefeuers». Andere Gemälde dieses naiven Künstlers sind in anderen Kirchen der Balagne zu finden.

The church of St. Joseph in Nessa was built between 1753 and 1783 on the initiative of the priest Don Gregorio Salvini, who was also a Deputy of Balagne and author of "Inters della Revoluzione di Corsica". He decided to build it and followed the work. At his death in 1789, he will also be buried at the foot of one of the pillars of the church. The interior of this church is adorned with three large paintings above the altars. On the main altar sits the Virgin in Rosary, work of the Bastiais artist Giovan Battista Moro, well known in the eighteenth century and registered as a historical monument. Above the two lateral altars, a painting by an anonymous artist depicting the Virgin in Assumption and a painting by an Orsini in 1842, "The souls of purgatory". We find other paintings by this naive artist in other churches of Balagne.

La chiesa di San Giuseppe a Nessa fu costruita tra il 1753 e il 1783 per iniziativa del sacerdote Don Gregorio Salvini, che fu anche deputato della Balagne e autore «Giustificazione della Revoluzione di Corsica». Decise la costruzione e ne seguì i lavori. Alla sua morte nel 1789 sarà sepolto ai piedi di uno dei pilastri della chiesa. L'interno di questa chiesa è decorato con tre grandi dipinti sopra gli altari. Sull'altare maggiore troneggia la Madonna in Rosario, opera dell'artista bastiese Giovan Battista Moro, noto nel XVIII secolo e iscritto Monumento storico. Sopra i due altari laterali, una tela anonima raffigurante la Vergine in Assunzione e una tela dipinta da un Orsini nel 1842, «Le anime del purgatorio». Altre tele di questo artista ingenuo si trovano in altre chiese della Balagne.

L’église Saint-Joseph de Nessa fut construite entre 1753 et 1783 à l’initiative du prêtre Don Gregorio Salvini, qui fut également Député de la Balagne et auteur « Giustificazione della Revoluzione di Corsica ». Il en décida la construction et en suivit les travaux. A sa mort en 1789 il sera d’ailleurs enterré au pied de l’un des piliers de l’église. L’intérieur de cette église est orné de trois grandes peintures au-dessus des autels. Sur l’autel principal trône la Vierge en Rosaire, œuvre de l’artiste bastiais Giovan Battista Moro, bien connu au XVIIIe siècle et inscrite Monument historique. Au-dessus des deux autels latéraux, une toile d’anonyme représentant la Vierge en Assomption et une toile peinte par un Orsini en 1842, « Les âmes du purgatoire ». On retrouve d’autres toiles de cet artiste naïf dans d’autres églises de Balagne.
