Wir bieten einen Tag lang ein Programm zur Sensibilisierung für die Herausgabe von Fotobüchern an, das sich an Buch- und Fotofachleute richtet. Es wird darum gehen, diesen einzigartigen redaktionellen Gegenstand, das Fotobuch, zu entdecken und gemeinsam über die Unterstützung der Leser nachzudenken. Während eines Tages werden Fachleute, die sich mit der Erfindung, Herstellung, Verbreitung und Bewahrung von Fotobüchern beschäftigen, ihre Aktivitäten austauschen und vorstellen sowie erzählen, wie sie diesen redaktionellen Gegenstand sehen.
Um das Fotobuch zu verbreiten, mobilisieren wir hier die Fachleute des Buches und der Fotografie. Die beruflichen Praktiken und Gepflogenheiten dieser Akteure sind sehr wichtig und können das Fotobuch wirklich neuen Zielgruppen näherbringen.
Mehrere Tage sind im Laufe des Jahres 2026-2027 geplant. Zunächst organisieren wir am 18. September 2026 in Partnerschaft mit der Kulturagentur der Region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (ALCA), dem Netzwerk der Médiathèques d'agglo de Niort und der Villa Pérochon einen Sensibilisierungstag in Niort.

Vormittag in der Mediathek Pierre Moinot, Niort
- Fotobücher.
Animierte Präsentation mehrerer Verlage und aktueller Bücher, die im Rahmen von France Photobook veröffentlicht wurden, in Anwesenheit mehrerer Verleger und Herausgeberinnen.
- Der Buchgegenstand
Ein Verleger dreht sich um ein präzises Beispiel mit einem Fotografen, der die Entstehung und die Phasen der gemeinsamen Bucherstellung verfolgt.
- Der Platz des Fotobuches in den Bibliotheken und Mediatheken
Was steht auf dem Spiel? Wie schafft man ihm einen Platz? Wie kann man dem Leser diese Art von Editorial anbieten?
Nachmittag in der Villa Pérochon, Niort
- Die Verbreitung von Fotobüchern in Buchhandlungen
Wie kann man das Fotobuch in der Buchhandlung hervorheben? Welche beruflichen Praktiken für Buchhändler?
Worte von Buchhändlern und einem Rundfunkverteiler.
- Ausstellung / Fotobuch: Welche Unterschiede, welche Brücken, welche Möglichkeiten?
Diese beiden Objekte werden von den Fotografen verwendet. Wie werden sie verstanden und wie können sich diese beiden singulären Objekte gegenseitig beleuchten?

We offer, for one day, an awareness program on the edition of photography books for professionals in the book and photography industry. It will be a matter of discovering this singular editorial object that is the photography book and reflecting together on the support of readers. For a day, professionals working to invent, manufacture, distribute and preserve photography books will exchange and present their activities, telling how they see this editorial object.
In order to disseminate the photography book, we are mobilizing here professionals from the book and photography industries. The professional practices and uses of these actors are very important and can truly bring the photography book to new audiences.
Several days are scheduled throughout the 2026-2027 year. To begin, we are organizing an awareness day in Niort on September 18, 2026, in partnership with the Agence culturelle de la Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine (ALCA), the network of media libraries in Niort and the Villa Pérochon.

Morning at the Pierre Moinot media library, Niort
- The photography books.
Animated presentation of several publishing houses and recent books published within France Photobook, in the presence of several editors.
- The book object
A publisher around a specific example with a photographer following the genesis and the stages of collective creation of the book
- The place of the photography book within libraries and media libraries
What issues? How to make room for him? How to propose this editorial genre to the reader?
Afternoon at the Villa Pérochon, Niort
- The distribution of photography books in bookstores
How to highlight the photography book in the bookstore? What professional practices for booksellers?
Words of booksellers and a distributor.
- Exhibition / Photography book: what differences, which gateways, what possibilities?
These two objects are invested by photographers. How do they apprehend them, and how can these two singular objects shine a light on each other?

Si tratterà di far scoprire questo singolare oggetto editoriale che è il libro di fotografia e riflettere insieme sull'accompagnamento dei lettori. Per una giornata, i professionisti impegnati nell'invenzione, produzione, diffusione e conservazione dei libri di fotografia si scambieranno e verranno a presentare le loro attività, raccontando come intendono questo oggetto editoriale.
Per diffondere il libro di fotografia mobilitiamo qui i professionisti del libro e della fotografia. Le pratiche e gli usi professionali di questi attori sono molto importanti e possono realmente portare il libro di fotografia verso nuovi pubblici.

Nous proposons, pendant une journée, un programme de sensibilisation à l’édition de livres de photographie à l’attention des professionnels du livre et de la photographie. Il s’agira de faire découvrir cet objet éditorial singulier qu’est le livre de photographie et de réfléchir ensemble à l’accompagnement des lecteurs. Pendant une journée, des professionnels œuvrant à inventer, fabriquer, diffuser et conserver les livres de photographie échangeront et viendront présenter leurs activités, raconter comment ils envisagent cet objet éditorial.
Afin de diffuser le livre de photographie nous mobilisons ici les professionnels du livre et de la photographie. Les pratiques et usages professionnels de ces acteurs sont très importants et peuvent véritablement porter le livre de photographie vers de nouveaux publics.
Plusieurs journées sont prévues tout au long de l'année 2026-2027. Pour commencer nous organisons une journée de sensibilisation à Niort le 18 septembre 2026 en partenariat avec l’Agence culturelle de la Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine (ALCA), le réseau des Médiathèques d’agglo de Niort et la Villa Pérochon.

- La place du livre de photographie au sein des bibliothèques et médiathèques
Quels enjeux ? Comment lui faire une place ? Comment proposer ce genre éditorial au lecteur ?
Après-midi à la Villa Pérochon, Niort
- La diffusion des livres de photographie en librairie
Comment mettre en avant le livre de photographie au sein de la librairie ? Quelles pratiques professionnelles pour les libraires ?
Paroles de libraires et d'un diffuseur-distributeur.
- Exposition / Livre de photographie : quelles différences, quelles passerelles, quelles possibilités ?

Proponemos, durante un día, un programa de sensibilización a la edición de libros de fotografía para los profesionales del libro y de la fotografía. Se tratará de hacer descubrir este singular objeto editorial que es el libro de fotografía y reflexionar juntos sobre el acompañamiento de los lectores. Durante un día, los profesionales que trabajan en la invención, fabricación, difusión y conservación de los libros de fotografía intercambiarán y vendrán a presentar sus actividades, contando cómo ven este objeto editorial.
Para difundir el libro de fotografía movilizamos aquí a los profesionales del libro y de la fotografía. Las prácticas y usos profesionales de estos actores son muy importantes y pueden realmente llevar el libro de fotografía a nuevos públicos.
Varios días están previstos a lo largo del año 2026-2027. Para empezar, organizamos una jornada de sensibilización en Niort el 18 de septiembre de 2026 en colaboración con la Agencia Cultural de la Región Nueva Aquitania (ALCA), la red de Médiathèques d'agglo de Niort y la Villa Pérochon.
