Anlässlich der gemeinsamen Feier zum 50. Jahrestag der Eröffnung des Museums für Mode und Kostüme im Palais Galliera 1977 und des 200-jährigen Jubiläums der Fotografie werden mehrere Veranstaltungen die Geschichte der Mode und ihrer Ausstellungen hinterfragen. Rund um die Fotografie wird eine Diskussion mit der Kunsthistorikerin Nancy Hall stattfinden.Duncan, um auf die Entstehung ihrer Geschichte der Modefotografie zurückzukommen, die anlässlich der von ihr kuratierten Ausstellung veröffentlicht wurde, die erstmals 1977 im International Museum of Photography - George Eastman House in Rochester (USA) stattfand. Dieses Treffen wird auch die Gelegenheit bieten, einen Überblick über die heutige Geschichte der Modefotografie zu geben und junge Forscher einzuladen, ihre Ansätze auszutauschen.

On the occasion of the joint celebration of the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Fashion and Costume Museum at the Palais Galliera in 1977 and the Bicentennial of Photography, several events will question the history of fashion and its exhibitions. Around photography, a discussion will take place with art historian Nancy Hall-Duncan in order to return to the genesis of her History of Fashion Photography, published on the occasion of the exhibition she curated and which was held for the first time in 1977 at the International Museum of Photography - George Eastman House in Rochester (USA). This meeting will also be an opportunity to take stock of the history of fashion photography today, by inviting young researchers to share their approaches.

In occasione della celebrazione congiunta del cinquantesimo anniversario dell'apertura del Museo della moda e del costume al Palazzo Galliera nel 1977 e del Bicentenario della fotografia, diversi eventi metteranno in discussione la storia della moda e delle sue esposizioni. Intorno alla fotografia, si terrà una discussione con la storica dell'arte Nancy Hall-Duncan per tornare sulla genesi della sua Storia della fotografia di moda pubblicata in occasione dell'esposizione di cui è stata commissario e che si è tenuta per la prima volta nel 1977 all'International Museum of Photography - George Eastman House a Rochester (Stati Uniti). Questo incontro sarà anche l'occasione per fare il punto sulla storia della fotografia di moda oggi, invitando giovani ricercatori a condividere i loro approcci.

A l'occasion de la célébration conjointe du cinquantenaire de l'ouverture du Musée de la mode et du costume au Palais Galliera en 1977 et du Bicentenaire de la Photographie, plusieurs événements questionneront l'histoire de la mode et de ses expositions. Autour de la photographie, une discussion aura lieu avec l'historienne de l'art Nancy Hall-Duncan afin de revenir sur la genèse de son Histoire de la Photographie de mode publiée à l'occasion de l'exposition dont elle fut commissaire et qui s'est tenue pour la première fois en 1977 à l'International Museum of Photography - George Eastman House à Rochester (Etats-Unis). Cette rencontre sera également l'occasion de dresser un état des lieux de l'histoire de la photographie de mode aujourd'hui, en invitant de jeunes chercheurs à partager leurs approches.

Con motivo de la celebración conjunta del cincuentenario de la apertura del Museo de la Moda y el Vestuario en el Palacio Galliera en 1977 y del Bicentenario de la Fotografía, varios eventos cuestionarán la historia de la moda y sus exposiciones. En torno a la fotografía, se celebrará un debate con la historiadora del arte Nancy Hall-Duncan para volver sobre la génesis de su Historia de la fotografía de moda publicada con ocasión de la exposición de la que fue comisaria y que se celebró por primera vez en 1977 en el International Museum of Photography - George Eastman House en Rochester (Estados Unidos). Este encuentro será también una oportunidad para hacer un balance de la historia de la fotografía de moda hoy, invitando a jóvenes investigadores a compartir sus enfoques.
