Das Künstlerbuch ist das Ergebnis der Wahl eines Schriftstellers und eines bildenden Künstlers als Ausdrucksform. Er entschied sich bewusst, sein künstlerisches Projekt in die Form des Buches zu übersetzen, nicht nur in den Text. Die Form des Buches wird bereichert, manchmal umgeleitet und bietet seinem Leser-Betrachter eine andere Leseerfahrung als das lineare und eindimensionale Lesen, das wir normalerweise haben. Diese Bücher mit oft begrenzten (oder sogar einzigartigen) Auflagen sind der Öffentlichkeit nicht zugänglich. In Zusammenarbeit mit Künstlern, Sammlern und Institutionen präsentiert die Mediathek Jean Jaurès eine Reihe antiker Bücher und Bücher zeitgenössischer Künstler, die den Wissensdurst und die Darstellung von Wissenschaftlern und Künstlern für den menschlichen Körper widerspiegeln.

The artist’s book is the fruit of the choice of a writer and a visual artist as a mode of expression. He consciously chose to translate his artistic project into the form of the book, not just the text. The form of the book is enriched, sometimes diverted, offering its reader-spectator a reading experience different from the linear and unidimensional reading that is usually ours. These books with often limited (or even unique) prints are inherently inaccessible to the public. With the help of creators, collectors and institutions, the Jean Jaurès Media Library presents a collection of ancient books and books by contemporary artists, reflecting the thirst for knowledge and representation of scientists and artists for the human body.

Il libro d'artista è il frutto della scelta di uno scrittore e di un artista plastico come modo di espressione. Sceglie consapevolmente di tradurre il suo progetto artistico con la forma del libro, non solo con il testo. La forma del libro è arricchita, deviata a volte, offrendo al suo lettore-spettatore un'esperienza di lettura diversa dalla lettura lineare e unidimensionale che è la nostra abituale. Questi libri con tirature spesso limitate (o addirittura uniche) sono per natura poco accessibili al pubblico. Con il concorso di creatori, collezionisti e istituzioni, la Mediateca Jean Jaurès presenta un insieme di libri antichi e di libri di artisti contemporanei, che riflettono la sete di conoscenza e di rappresentazione di scienziati e artisti per il corpo umano.

Le livre d’artiste est le fruit du choix d’un écrivain et d’un artiste plasticien comme mode d’expression. Il choisit sciemment de traduire son projet artistique par la forme du livre, non par le texte seulement. La forme du livre est enrichie, détournée parfois, offrant à son lecteur-spectateur une expérience de lecture différente de la lecture linéaire et unidimensionnelle qui est la nôtre habituellement. Ces livres aux tirages souvent limités (ou même uniques) sont par essence peu accessibles au public. Avec le concours de créateurs, collectionneurs et institutions, la Médiathèque Jean Jaurès présente un ensemble de livres anciens et de livres d’artistes contemporains, reflétant la soif de connaissance et de représentation des savants et des artistes pour le corps humain.

El libro de artista es el resultado de la elección de un escritor y un artista plástico como modo de expresión. Él elige a sabiendas traducir su proyecto artístico por la forma del libro, no solamente por el texto. La forma del libro es enriquecida, desviada a veces, ofreciendo a su lector-espectador una experiencia de lectura diferente de la lectura lineal y unidimensional que es la nuestra generalmente. Estos libros, con tiradas a menudo limitadas (o incluso únicas), son en esencia poco accesibles al público. Con la ayuda de creadores, coleccionistas e instituciones, la Mediateca Jean Jaurès presenta un conjunto de libros antiguos y libros de artistas contemporáneos, que reflejan la sed de conocimiento y de representación de los científicos y artistas para el cuerpo humano.
