Jahrhunderts im ersten Stock des 1876 vom Architekten DIET errichteten Fragonard-Gebäudes endgültig eingerichtet wurde, nimmt die Bibliothek eine Fläche von 800 m2 ein und lebt mit dem Fragonard-Museum zusammen. Es handelt sich um eines der schönsten und ältesten Gebäude der École d'Alfort und sein großer Saal sieht noch genauso aus wie bei seiner Einweihung Anfang 1900.
Sie ist für alle zugänglich, die sich für Tiere und Tiermedizin interessieren, seien es Studierende, Forscher oder einfach nur Enthusiasten. Sie bietet eine große Anzahl von Dokumenten auf Universitätsniveau sowie einen kleinen Bestand an populärwissenschaftlichen Artikeln und richtet sich hauptsächlich an Studenten der Veterinärmedizin, der Medizin und paramedizinischer Fachrichtungen, an Forscher in den Bereichen Wissenschaft und Wissenschaftsgeschichte sowie an Künstler, die sich mit Tieren beschäftigen oder auch nicht.

Permanently installed at the end of the 19th century on the first floor of the Fragonard building erected in 1876 by the architect DIET, the Library occupies a surface area of 800 m2 and cohabits with the Fragonard Museum. This is one of the oldest and most beautiful buildings in the École d'Alfort, and its great hall is still as it was when it was inaugurated in the early 1900s.
It is open to all those interested in animals and veterinary medicine, whether students, researchers or enthusiasts. It contains a large number of university-level documents, as well as a small collection of popularised material, and is aimed primarily at veterinary students, students of medicine and paramedical specialities, researchers in science and the history of science, and artists, whether animal lovers or not.

È uno degli edifici più antichi e più belli dell'École d'Alfort e la sua grande sala è ancora come quando fu inaugurata all'inizio del 1900.
È aperto a tutti gli interessati agli animali e alla medicina veterinaria, siano essi studenti, ricercatori o appassionati. Contiene un gran numero di documenti di livello universitario, oltre a una piccola collezione di materiale divulgativo, e si rivolge principalmente a studenti di veterinaria, di medicina e di specialità paramediche, a ricercatori di scienze e di storia della scienza e ad artisti, amanti o meno degli animali.

Définitivement installée à la fin du XIXe siècle au premier étage du bâtiment Fragonard érigé en 1876 par l'Architecte DIET, la Bibliothèque occupe une surface de 800 m2 et cohabite avec le Musée Fragonard. Il s'agit de l’un des plus beaux et des plus anciens bâtiments de l’École d’Alfort et sa grande salle est encore telle que lors de son inauguration au début des années 1900.
Elle est accessible à tous ceux qui s’intéressent aux animaux et à la médecine vétérinaire, qu’ils soient étudiants, chercheurs, ou simples passionnés. Elle propose un grand nombre de documents de niveau universitaire ainsi qu’un petit fonds de vulgarisation et s’adresse principalement aux étudiants vétérinaires, aux étudiants en médecine et spécialités paramédicales, aux chercheurs en sciences et histoire des sciences ainsi qu’aux artistes, animaliers ou non.

Instalada definitivamente a finales del siglo XIX en la primera planta del edificio Fragonard, construido en 1876 por el arquitecto DIET, la Biblioteca ocupa una superficie de 800 m2 y cohabita con el Museo Fragonard. Se trata de uno de los edificios más antiguos y bellos de la École d'Alfort, y su gran vestíbulo se conserva tal y como era cuando se inauguró a principios del siglo XX.
Está abierto a todos los interesados en los animales y la medicina veterinaria, ya sean estudiantes, investigadores o aficionados. Contiene un gran número de documentos de nivel universitario, así como una pequeña colección de material de divulgación, y se dirige principalmente a estudiantes de veterinaria, estudiantes de medicina y especialidades paramédicas, investigadores en ciencia e historia de la ciencia y artistas, amantes o no de los animales.
