Heute ist der olympische Sport von frühester Kindheit an gelehrt worden. Fechten war zunächst die Kunst der Verteidigung, und seine Geschichte spiegelt die unserer Gesellschaften wider. Waffen und Kampftechniken haben sich gemeinsam entwickelt, von der primitiven Keule über das elegante Florett bis hin zum Schwert, einer mythischen Waffe. Wenn das Duell eine mörderische Praxis war, wird die Kunst des Kampfes im Theater zu einer Praktik des Illusionismus im Dienste einer authentischen dramatischen Handlung: Das macht ihren Charme und ihre Faszination, aber auch ihre ganze Schwierigkeit aus. Vom Duell bis zur Bühne bietet an, diese reiche Geschichte zu erzählen und mit Waffen in der Hand die am besten gehüteten Geheimnisse zu liefern.

Oggi sport olimpico insegnato in tenera età, la scherma è stata prima l'arte della difesa e la sua storia riflette intimamente quella delle nostre società. Le armi e le tecniche di combattimento si sono evolute insieme, dalla clava primitiva all'elegante fioretto, passando per la spada, arma mitica tra tutte. Se il duello fu una pratica omicida, nel teatro l'arte del combattimento diventa una pratica di illusionista al servizio di un'azione drammatica autentica: questo è ciò che rende il suo fascino e il suo fascino, ma anche tutta la sua difficoltà. Les armes et les techniques de combat ont évolué ensemble, de la massue primitive à l’élégant fleuret, en passant par l’épée, arme mythique entre toutes. Si le duel fut une pratique meurtrière, au théâtre l’art du combat devient une pratique d’illusionniste au service d’une action dramatique authentique : c’est ce qui fait son charme et sa fascination, mais aussi toute sa difficulté. Du Duel à la Scène propose de raconter cette riche histoire et d’en livrer, armes à la main, les secrets les mieux gardés.
