Eine Bildungseinrichtung wurde 1604 von König Heinrich IV. gegründet und den Jesuiten anvertraut, um «die Jugend zu erziehen und sie in Wissenschaft, Ehre und Tugend zu verlieben, um der Öffentlichkeit dienen zu können»
Der Zugang wird in den Ehrenhöfen, der Bibliothek, der Kirche Saint-Louis, den Innenhöfen, dem Ehrenvestibül, dem Generalkorridor, der militärischen Reitabteilung, dem Gedenkmuseum, dem Taupenot-Raum und dem Guillaumat-Raum gewährt.

L'accesso sarà consentito nei cortili d'onore, nella biblioteca, nella chiesa di San Luigi, nei cortili interni, nel vestibolo d'onore, nel corridoio dei generali, nella sezione equestre militare, nel museo della memoria, nell'Espace Taupenot e nell'Espace Guillaumat.
