Le réveil du printemps est pour nous l’occasion de nous intéresser aux fleurs — non pas à celles qui poussent au ras du sol, mais à celles qui s’épanouissent sur les arbres. Si leur but premier reste la reproduction, leurs stratégies diffèrent largement. Prenons donc un instant pour partir à la rencontre de ces fleurs qui maîtrisent l’art de la séduction comme nul autre, charmant aussi bien les insectes que les poètes.

Het voorjaarsontwaken is een kans voor ons om ons te richten op bloemen — niet die die laag op de grond groeien, maar die die bloeien op bomen. Als hun primaire doel reproductie is, verschillen hun strategieën sterk. Laten we even de tijd nemen om deze bloemen te ontmoeten die de kunst van verleiding beheersen als geen andere, charmante insecten en dichters.
