Medieval Festival
A completely free time trip that will start on Friday, June 2 at 8pm, at the Cultural Centre, with a great opening concert!
"Hear, Noble Lords and Noble Ladies, it is our great honour to announce the coming of the medieval festival, as rarely happens in our lands! On June 2, 3 and 4, you will be transported to the heart of another time and experience festivities worthy of the greatest figures in our history. Reconstructed camps, knight fights, music and dances of yesteryear, various arts, exhibitions and street theater. Succulent dishes, animations and workshops for marmots and adults. Do not miss this unique opportunity to dive into the wonderful world of the Middle Ages.
Come celebrate this weekend that you will never forget!” It is in the magnificent Bocquiau farm that the festival will take place on the two main days of the event. Young and old can benefit from the reconstitution of a medieval camp, tournaments and various animations: archery demonstrations, medieval market, crafts of yesteryear, street theater, pyrotechnic shows, concerts, exhibitions.
To complete a historical reconstruction, we called upon various medieval associations. You will find the Mesnie of the Brothers of Arms of Saint-Guinerort and Corvus Flandria. The public will then be invited to choose their side during this reconstituted Flanders War. A show that will see the enemy camps on Saturday, June 3 at 6pm and Sunday 3 at 4pm.
A closing show «dance and fire fights» by La Horde d'Emeriass, will take place at 22:00 on Saturday and 17:30 on Sunday.
Fête Médiévale
Un voyage dans le temps entièrement gratuit qui débutera le vendredi 2 juin à 20h, au Centre culturel, par un grand concert d’ouverture !

Campements reconstitués, combats de chevaliers, musique et danses d’antan, Arts divers, expositions et théâtre de rue. Mets succulents, animations et ateliers pour les marmots et les plus grands.
Ne manquez point cette occasion unique de plonger dans le monde merveilleux du Moyen Âge.

C’est dans la magnifique ferme du Bocquiau que la fête aura lieu les deux jours principaux de l’événement.
Petits et grands pourront bénéficier de la reconstitution d’un camp médiéval, tournois et animations diverses: démonstrations d’archerie, marché médiéval, métiers d’antan, théâtre de rue, spectacles pyrotechniques,
concerts, expositions.
Pour une parfaire une reconstitution historique, nous avons fait appel à diverses associations médiévales.
Vous y trouverez la Mesnie des Frères d’Armes de Saint-Guinerort et Corvus Flandria.
Le public sera alors invité à choisir son camp pendant cette guerre de Flandre reconstituée.
Un spectacle qui verra s’affronter les camps ennemis le samedi 3 juin à 18h et le dimanche 3 à 16h.
Un spectacle de clôture « danse et combats de feu » par La Horde d’Emeriass, aura lieu à 22h00 le samedi et à 17h30 le dimanche.
Middeleeuws Festival
Een volledig vrije tijdreis die op vrijdag 2 juni om 20:00 uur begint in het Cultural Centre, met een geweldig openingsconcert!
"Hoor, Noble Lords en Noble Ladies, het is onze grote eer om de komst van het middeleeuwse festival aan te kondigen, zoals zelden gebeurt in ons land! Op 2, 3 en 4 juni wordt u naar het hart van een andere tijd gebracht en beleeft u festiviteiten die de grootste figuren in onze geschiedenis waardig zijn. Gereconstrueerde kampen, riddergevechten, muziek en dansen van weleer, diverse kunst, tentoonstellingen en straattheater. Heerlijke gerechten, animaties en workshops voor marmotten en volwassenen. Mis deze unieke kans niet om een duik te nemen in de prachtige wereld van de Middeleeuwen.
Kom dit weekend vieren dat je nooit zult vergeten!” Het is in de prachtige Bocquiau boerderij dat het festival zal plaatsvinden op de twee hoofddagen van het evenement. Jong en oud kunnen profiteren van de reconstitutie van een middeleeuws kamp, toernooien en verschillende animaties: Boogschieten demonstraties, middeleeuwse markt, ambachten van weleer, straattheater, pyrotechnische shows, concerten, tentoonstellingen.
Om een historische reconstructie te voltooien, hebben we verschillende middeleeuwse verenigingen opgeroepen. U vindt hier de Mesnie van de Arms van Saint-Guinerort en Corvus Flandria. Het publiek zal dan uitgenodigd worden om hun kant te kiezen tijdens deze gereconstitueerde Vlaamse Oorlog. Een show die de vijandelijke kampen zal zien op zaterdag 3 juni om 18:00 uur en zondag 3 om 16:00 uur.
Een afsluitende show «dans en vuurgevechten» door La Horde d'Emeriass, vindt plaats op zaterdag om 22:00 uur en zondag om 17:30 uur.
